10k armor, 3k health, max resists, Steelpoint two-shots me with his RoA

I actually never remembered him being that tough before, but then yesterday I played a few thicket maps and he absolutely destroyed me. I have 5k life, 5k armor, and he just 2-3 shotted me in 5 seconds. All 6 of the skeletons that were summoned by my totem (and have 2k life each) were also destroyed with just 1 of his Rain of Arrows attack.

I didn't remember him being able to one shot a skellie totem either.
in terms of 67 maps i daresay wharf boss is pretty deadly as well

Yeah Bramblemitts.

I killed him twice (2 separate Wharf maps) and I facetanked his Chaos damage volleys.
11k armour/5.1k hp/70%block/80% allres on hc. Almost always block his shots, RoA too, didn't know AoE can be blocked. But if RoA hits, it damages for 1.5k - 2k hp. With
I believe he can oneshot some casters=)

thats one of the flaws of the game design imho.
even very well geared and 15+ lvl over the map's mobs can in some cases instantly kill you.

the game has more frustration moments then rewarding moments. especially on high lvl. and i see a lot of people quitting because of this. playing a game should be fun and relaxing in the first place. if a game eventually becomes frustrating to play people will just avoid it and move along ... and this is lately happening in poe. my 2 cents.

This is why I stopped playing catering to the small player base of hardcore elitists is just bad game design.

Has it always been like this or have you only noticed it recently?

tl:dr: lots of nonsensical blah blah.

These are the kind of words spoken by someone who actually wants to provoke a fight.
In any case, it's rude. Cut it out, and step it up a notch.

I also happened to be right. Someone with 3K life is going to have a tough time of getting around that corner and getting into any kind of mode where cursing this boss is going to help them. At 3K life, this boss is going to be tricky, even with the Decoy Totem you later recommend.

In most cases yes, but in this game's case, no.

This game was made with those people in mind. If it didn't cater to them, it will have gone opposite of it's original intent. A game that changes it's direction mid-development never turns out right for any audience because it's inevitably split between two different ones who want two different things.

I made the '3k life is low' point several times myself -- I'm clearly not arguing that. Just your silly 'cursing is harrrrrrrrrrrrd' crap.

And you're wrong about decoy totem. When I started running Thicket maps, I had 3k life too. And 4k armour. That's right, 4K. Not 10k. And I didn't have any iron skin granites either.

Steelpoint hits hard, but decoy totem catches most of the hits, and he had Enfeeble on him all the time, obviously. I never died to him.

3k life is too low, but with the right tools he can do this easily. Decoy totem makes almost all boss encounters easy.

Agreed and also completely irrelevant to the discussion at hand.
