don't feel bad, i'm pretty good at English, played this game since 2013 and some mechanics I juts block because they are annoying. last league I blocked like 8 mechanics because they aren't even worth doing if you don't spec into them.

game has taken a weird turn and this current league is the pinnacle of it. Can't believe ppl like this. I think they are getting a lot of orbs because this is the main selling point of any 'mechanic'

I hate it aswell. GGG completely out of reality lately with this crazy lame vision. Tho this should be better in 2 weeks, after many fixes and improvements. And I agree they will add this shit to core game very likely.
After D4 this had to be record players in league, but they manage to fail at this aswell.
Ruthless direction seems was total fail and VERY wrong for them.. they continue this trend.
Very concerned about future of PoE1.
3.15 was a joke. 3.19 was a disaster. Archnemesis/Ruthless/Crucible(Archnemesis 4.0?) - worst ideas. Ruthless is a joke, a waste of resources. PoE2(exilecon version) was super disappointing.
Just brutally lost a trial with no clue on how to improve my build, only to find that the next trial is a higher enemy level than the last one?
I didn't earn any favor.
I didn't level.
I didn't get new gear.
Now the next stage is more difficult?

Now I realize I've just wasted a half hour of time with this mechanic with nothing to show for it.

Mobs with proximity shields are annoying but otherwise the mini game is kinda fun.

You think, you plan, you slay monsters, you get loot. It's not really rocket science why some people like it.

I'm pretty neutral to the mechanic. It's OK. I think it can be more fun when your character is starting to get better.

To me, it seems like a lot of people are overthinking the mechanic. It's not that complicated at all.

I watched about new league mechanics, and don't like two things:

- league mechanics is supposed to help you at begining of the game. You start with nothing in stash and frequent leugue encounters helps you to build items pool to finish the story campaign. This league looks like endgame only, which means you should grind through story like you start the game first time. Which sucks.

- the reward is too small for endgame. Instead of mapping you are grinding tournament for a couple of alch for encounter, doesn't seem worthwhile.
Yeah it's a stupid league mechanic.
If I wanted to play League of Legends or any other rubbish MOBA game then I would be playing that and not path of exile.

It honestly baffles me why GGG decided to make this a MOBA style game mode, instead of just a standard battler mechanic. Would have been more fun if you just picked your crew and let them duke it out or join them without any of this towers nonsense.

People play PoE to play PoE not some MOBA trash game.
GGG should focus on league content which intergrates with mapping as that would have been worthwile rather than something detatched from that, this league mechanic wont get merged at end of league so ultimately was a waste of dev time.

They could have spent less dev time and made much more enjoyable league content, here is one example: killing all monsters in a map triggers nightmare zone, all monsters revive, are much stronger but drop better loot. Bit tedious but increases player engagement with maps and they basically get 2 maps for the price of 1. Simple stuff like that would have been more fun and easier to make...

I have no problems with campain (act3 right now) but every time I try ancestors, they destroy me, it's a waste of time and coins. I´ll skip it until maps and then i´ll give it a second chance.

I think the new mechanic should be adjusted for low levels, also with low rewards, to make players learn how it works and increase the difficulty as player level grows.
Couldn't be less interested in this league mechanic.

Seems like an attempt at making something completely different to distract from the main game but if I wanted to play something like TFT, I'd load up TFT.

I felt the same with Crucible. I play arpgs to blow up screens full of mobs.
