Agreed, since when is the quality of a game measured in number of copies sold. If games could be returned I could see that as being a representation of quality, but since they can't you don't get to measure quality by quantity.

All that measures is how many people thought the game was going to be good...example SimCity. That sold a ton of copies, but is a piece of garbage.

Yep. Just wait and see how much D4 will sell. I also bought D3 because I didn't expect that it would be Diablo 0.8

As for COD - it is a new counter strike. Single player wise since Modern Warfare it is the worst shooter I've ever played. And I played pretty much all shooters since Wolfenshtein 3D

You CAN since when? You live in a country that has special rules because I don't know any company that accepts returns. Anything with a CD-Key usually can't be returned except if you yell at the original company enough, but I've never hard much luck. I agree, seems like a lot of non-sandbox FPS's are just too much on rails or completely linear and scripted. They care more about dragging the player through a forced story than actually letting people play and explore.

Don't worry. When D3 expansion will be released. Again, Blizzard will break another record with sales, and when haters realize D3 is actually good now after many changes, PoE will be in trouble.

Which is a good thing. GGG now just sits on their butt and throwing out useless weekly patches.

If they get a real competition, they will need to work harder...

And still this is not the worst about Modern Warfare single player. One word - endless enemies. Maybe it is not so obvious at low difficulty, but on veteran the game experience is completely idiotic and retarted beyond limits.

Enemies just poping up with same speed as you shoot them. Forever
