I'm using a 5-way service for the first time to get to 100, and I feel embarrassed for not doing it already.
Never went past lvl 98 before and getting those two last points in a matter of hours is ridiculously convenient. Second-class poe gamer

I love it when people try to justify their jealousy by saying something is "not good for the game". Bonus points if they absolutely fail to at least make up some remotely believable reason as to why "it's not good for the game"
What you mean is, it's not good for you. You don't like it, you hate that other people are good at exploiting a system that's available for EVERYONE. If you don't want to or like to do it, no one should, right? Screw everyone who just wants to progress fast. Screw everyone who enjoys doing 5ways for currency. Screw everyone who enjoys everything you don't enjoy. That's what all this translates to, really. The only thing that's bad for the game is limiting people's options and shutting down things that a certain portion of people enjoy. I'm sick and tired of this bullshit and how people like you make up these fake and frankly quite sad excuses like "it's bad for the game". New players checking out poeninja and copying a build just cause it made it to lvl100? Seems legit. Lvl100 is not an achievement, never was. Leveling to 100 isn't hard, it's just boring. I've never had a lvl 100 character simply because I don't have the patience for it, just like I don't have the patience to do challenges and achievements, especially since they're always grindy AF. You want lvling to 100 to be "hard" because you imagine people will wet themselves with excitement over you doing it? LOL. Nobody cares about your little badges, this isn't kindergarden. " Do it then. People who have not made it past 95 on their own legs will literally have no clue how hard it can be to get the last few levels versus the speed of these runs. This allows people to bypass having to actually gear their characters and play the game which is fine but if they don't interact with the economy it hurts everyone. Meanwhile a majority of these highly organized groups are directly tied to the RMT and this entire service economy that has emerged is absolutely perfect for them to thrive. Level 100 was something special versions and years ago, but today it's nothing special anymore even without 5way.
But the topic sounds like a fomo issue. Simply don't use a 5way service if you don't like it and want to level up in your own. 5way is just nice for those who have leveled up more than enough characters to 100 in the past leagues. Not everyone is interested to level up to 100 by hand every league over and over again, or spend even more time with leveling up alts. Making currency is easier and faster after all and it sure gives you more time to enjoy a character with all skill points sooner than later. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun. And yes 5-way service is the prefect stragety to farm currency.Few people can sit before the computer just seeing if the character moves, if moves need to use the temporal rift to back off,other time just use something pressing the butttom to use KB all the time,that is boring expectof makeing 'real money'.And it is a huge profit |
