And again, how is that a problem??? Other people's currency does not affect you. The content others do does not affect you. 99% of what other people do in this game does not affect you. Unless you're the fun police and like to whine that other people can profit off of stuff that you don't enjoy doing.

Are you willing to endure the boredom of 5way afk for x hours? If yes, good. If not, also good. I myself never did 5ways. Yes I'm aware they exist, I'm aware they're the best levelling method. I still don't enjoy them so I don't do them. The same choice is available to you, and the same choice applies to doing 5way carries. People should have an option to level fast if that's what they enjoy.

As I said, same stuff is available for everyone. Whether you do it or not is your choice. And the most important point is, it SHOULD STAY A CHOICE. That's why I despise posts like this and get annoyed at people like you. Mind your own business and play the game the way you want to play it, and let other people do the same.

Re to the lvl 100 topic: No, I'm not gonna "do it myself" because I don't like brainless grind. I get bored super easily and I'm not gonna torture myself into hours of party play (which I despise) or farming safe crap (which I also despise). You need to understand the difference between "hard" and "boring". This is a game, and the point (for me at least) is to have fun. Not grind my hours into braindead, mindless, unfun content just so I can get a little badge and the seal of approval from the POE community, lol. I leveled to 99 once and almost uninstalled out of boredom. Never again.

PS: If you need "achievements" and "challenges" go lvl to 100 in Ruthless. I promise I'll even pretend to be in awe just for you to feel better.

One must be extremely bad at this game to not be able to afford a 5way. And if one is that bad, they have no place posting suggestions on the forum. I think that was the point I was trying to make.

If you're referring to doing 5ways as the carry, sure, that's a smidge more complicated, but 1. there are guides, plenty of them and 2. the correct way to do this is to ask for help, not bitch that they need to go just cause you can't do them.

Like I said before, the worst suggestions you can see on this forum are "X thing needs to be nerfed/removed because (insert stupid reason)". As long as X is something that is optional and available for everyone, and there are people who enjoy it, X thing should never ever be nerfed or removed. Whatever it is. Except in competitive environments ofc, but that's different.

Because POE is not a game where other people's actions/playstyle affects you. I can't stress this enough, and it SO annoys me that people don't get this. Posts like this are like the kid that's telling the teacher that the dude in the back row is watching videos on their phone instead of paying attention to the class.

What makes it extra bad is that all this is happening without a major cost and can be done while being 100% AFK during the map.

OP also has multiple level 100 characters on their account, no need to pretend as if they're some complete rookie who cannot afford 10 divines.

It doesn't trivialize the game, it trivializes leveling. Vastly different. You can level all you want in crap gear, pretty sure you're not gonna do much. Trivializing leveling is good, because it's boring as shit (I mean if you want to level to 100 that is). That said, those 3 extra passives don't really do much for you (if we are talking about leveling to 100). As for leveling in 60-90s - if people want to do AFK 5ways as opposed to maps or delve or whatever else, I'm not going to pretend to understand their motivation, but why shouldn't they have an option to do it if they want to? The game does not force you to do this. So you don't have to do it.

And this is why I write essays. Because apparently I need to repeat the same thing 50 times in 50 different forms for it to be understood (even though it was painfully obvious to begin with).

And apparently, I have to say it AGAIN because both you and OP have failed to answer my question, repeatedly - how is it a problem? How does it affect YOU? Not just you, any other player. People who are doing it are doing it because they want to, so obviously they would not like to see it removed. People who aren't doing it aren't affected by others doing it. Might come as a shock, but you can play just fine without 5ways.

So again, I repeat, it all comes down to a very simple point: you are complaining about content that is OPTIONAL and gives people a way to avoid something that they do not enjoy. And you are saying this is a problem because it gives people a way to avoid something they don't enjoy. If you don't see how THIS is a real problem, I feel sorry for you.

If you believe that leveling and it's strategies are not an integral part of the PoE experience then you're simply not operating with the same beliefs as majority of the players and PoE developers, most of whom believe that leveling is a very important aspect of the game.

You're right, I shouldn't write essays because no amount of them will apparently help you understand.

I never said leveling isn't important, I said leveling the last few levels isn't. The advantage lvl 100 gives you over lvl 98 is very close to irrelevant. I very much doubt the majority of players or POE devs would agree otherwise if they've like, you know, played this game before.

Leveling pre 90 - sure, you can do it faster with 5ways. But it doesn't give you any real advantage besides QOL if you for some reason hate doing low tier maps instead. It's in no way OP and definitely doesn't give you the ability to one shot bosses. All it does is help you level in 1hr instead of 1 day, at the cost of most of the currency you'd make in said day. Wow such advantage.

And "entitled" lmao really. You should be "entitled" to have fun in games and skip boring crap you don't enjoy. It's not competitive. It's not a race. If it were, you'd have lost it already, 5ways or no, judging by the little amount of knowledge you have about this game.
