To each their own but thats kind of the definition of no life gaming and exactly what ruthless requires; a fuckton of time. You dont get far in ruthless without a huge amount of time spent there are no shortcuts, its just more time spent playing the exact same game for less reward for your time. Not much there but a flex of more free time to spend on the game.

I don't think anyone is delusional about how many people will try the event, including GGG -- at least not so delusional that they think it will be popular.

The better question is whether or not someone will finish. I'm pushing upper maps with a level 83 character with garbage equipment with no real end in sight on that front. Killing Uber-[Anything] in a three month period in SSF HC Ruthless feels like a tall order.

I'm sure someone will somehow manage, and everyone will take a moment to watch the video of them doing it. I highly doubt anyone is going to consistently watch a stream of someone doing Ruthless for months though. Bragging rights is all that is on the table for this event. The cost of exilecon pales in comparison to the time it will take.

That only works if, in theory, everyone plays the game at the same speed.
What can you say about if i'll finish 10 acts in HCSSF_R faster than most of the SC playerbase do 10 acts in SC league?

Poe feels awful without a movement skill.
