Ruthless gets a new movement skill (Quickstep)

It's called Quickstep and drops from Hillock.

Some saw this coming i guess.

Maybe some more people are now enticed to try this mode.

e:

-------------

+Skill works like Dash and does not need an enemy to teleport to, which is better than the next best movement skill in Ruthless which was Conc Path.

+Has 10 seconds cooldown, but it's massively reduced around unique enemies.

+"Stopping at any place you cant stand" - guess it means you can't teleport out if you're body blocked by enemies.

e2:
-------------

"Stopping at any place you cant stand" - not being able to cross ledges or rivers, etc
Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks

That's an odd backtrack. If I recall correctly, didn't they say if something in the game required a movement skill to avoid, they would revisit the thing that required the movement skill?

I'm personally glad they're rethinking it because movement skills provide a more involved fight mechanic whereas walking just doesn't feel very interactive, and somehow having Ruthless related issues seep into the main game feels like a bad idea (yes, I realize this may already being happening).
Thanks for all the fish!

I mean I think they are trying to avoid complete embarrassment if the entire event is largely abandoned, or devoid of the best players. The optics are likely going to be quite poor here.

Total joke. Ruthless isn't Ruthless enough. Adding this skill has just killed Ruthless. Embarrassing.
