Good thing that people with open mind will read and listen but will decide for themselves and never be influenced by anyone but themselves on their decisions.

The thing about the end game of Diablo 3 is that it doesnt give you new items to enable new builds or really empower your current build other than stat boosts. At least the goal of the end game in POE is to find end game uniques and items to create new builds.

Diablo 4 seems to be the same as D3 you just keep gridning for the same legendary and rares that have the affixes you want.

POE also has verying gameplay types like breaches, abysses, syndicate, harbingers etc etc that you could spec into. D4 seemingly is just dungeons world events and world bosses.

I played both the early accesses and really regret it. I dont think I can get a refund because I played early access so blizzard won from me, but I dont have to be happy about it. I am probably not even going to play the full game upon release even though i paid a hefty sum for it because i am already bored of it.

Somebody in OT mentioned they had no problem getting a refund after playing open beta.

Making pvp element of endgame is very interesting concept (though not easy to implement). There are good ideas and who knows how the game will grow.

Got it. I am so happy now. I got a refund for deluxe and basic edition. THis was really great of Blizzard. Was not expecting it TBH.

A lot of folks in this thread taking this for granted.

PoE has these things NOW.

You know what PoE had when it exited Beta? Maps. Maps with a random zone, that dropped normal items and had near no events. Not even Strongboxes.

And folks still played and enjoyed it, and the people who enjoy D3 will likely enjoy D4, added content or not. Heck, D3 has mostly just been 'Run random maps' for years and people still have fun with it, because the thing about games is the doing is the 'fun' part for a vast majority, not the payout.

I'm not saying D4 is good, or even I care at all about it, but to think that it even 'needs' an endgame at release is just a faulty concept.
