its been confirmed diablo 4 has no endgame at all!

I don't have much faith in the devs as of yet. The livestream that I watched when they announced the CE was very underwhelming. It appeared as if it was done in a single take with no preparation done beforehand. Then there's the classic "Q: Backtracking in dungeons feels bad because the layouts have dead legs everywhere. A: We'll make the monsters respawn." Thanks!

The game will not be "good" at launch. It will not be "good" the first season. It's going to take a lot of time (probably at least a year) for the game to get to a good state where people want to log in every 3 months and start over. PvP is also likely to be a mess at launch. Time will tell.
If I would like to play diablo, I would install D2. I don't trust bliz anymore, d3 is not for me, the only modern game from bliz that was really good in my eyes was Hots, but they removed almost all developers and cybersport support from it.
Totally don't care about this D4, PoE 10 times better. GGG you're the best!

they released their new "endgame" trailer and their "endgame" consists of new passive skills wich gives you +5 stat points and dmg boosts and nothing else and you got some dailies you gotta do every day and thats it yep thats it thats what you gonna be doing for the next 10 years do some dailies and spam the same dungeon/world boss for the next 10 years!

You know, once D4 drops, you'll be eating your words, I'm just say'n. Your bias is seeping through my screen, at least try to have objectivity when making these types of claims...wow

I don't get that kind of attitude really, I find both D4 (BETA) and PoE games to be enjoyable and if some players prefers one game over another, so be it.

I purchased the D4 Deluxe version twice, once for my PS5 and for my PC. I later found out, my PS5 progress was the same as my PC progress, now how cool is that! I get why many players boycott Blizzard and that's fair, but I choose to look at it differently, I'm supporting the folks who are at their desk working to produce a product. Yeah, Bobby is a major jerk but nothing is going to hurt his income by me not paying for a game made by Blizzard.

Your game is lackluster and doesn't look very good.

LOL
Dys an sohm

Sahl djahs afah
Mah morn narr
The cinematic got me, but the game didn't.

It tries to not be PoE too hard. Almost like they fear getting in that arena.

Now it's not really an arpg and not really an mmo. Long cooldowns in a topdown view.

Can't blame it for not having that much endgame, though. They'll have to put in the work coming years.
Did you try turning it off and on again?

I suspect the 10 years was hyperbole Nubatron but there is no dodging that Blizzard is amongst the least productive developers, if it doesn't launch with significant endgame It likely won't get significant endgame for quite some time.

You also have to keep in mind there is a good chunk of confirmation bias going on, many players myself included expect the game to have the equivalent of mmo dailies on repeat as a fill in for content and it just checks a box in that area.

As per usual I want to be wrong despite said confirmation bias, as i'd always take a better game over a worse whether I play it or not but there is plenty of toxicity about D4 from saltmines worldwide regardless.

I wouldn't entirely agree with this; while they may not be adding significant content they added patches to original d2 as late as 2016 to ensure it kept working. So while they may not be prolific DLC spewers, they do a good job of maintaining their products for a long time, which os more productive than quite a few other developers.

Interesting response, just which game is my game? Hmmmm?

I don't get all the drama here. Who cares what d4 offers? Just wait to buy it, if you hear good things about it buy it, if not then wait and see if it gets better.

The endgame in d3v was farming a3 for ilvl 63 items, and the game was fine. The +5 main stat crap was what ruined the game for many, and that didn't become a real issue until later in s4, so fall of 2015. I still play it now, but endlessly speed farming 4 man 150s in 3-4 minutes on a build you don't like b/c that's the way to get better stats on the class that you actually like to play...yeah, that should have been handled differently. I think that their issue was that they killed off their plan to monetize the game, poe had a much better system and has thus done a much better job of keeping their game fresh and up to date. If blizzard is able devote more resources to keeping d4 fresh and updated it will end up being good, if they aren't then it won't end up being as good, regardless of what it looks like at launch.
If you're a PoE fan, then no need to worry about DIV. Creating these topics tends to feel a bit of copium to me.
