Nerf fest is coming

I'll confess, for a patch that was not a nerf fest, it feels a little like a nerf fest. Hah.

Anyway, adapt and conquer. That's the real fun of POE for me.

is there a bigger nerf than "utility flasks gain 3 charges" mastery removal?
i guess we can compensate it with flask duration i guess

For a patch that wasn't supposed to be a nerf fest that's a huge number of nerfs. It's just death by a thousand cuts.

The league mechanic is going to carry the league hard. People will be chasing trophies all the way until D4 comes out. League numbers will be great for 2 full months.

There were many, and some significant, nerfs here after reading through them.

Also that line today, about taking the masteries, keeping the best ones, and then adding some, is about as close to bs as you can get lol.

Trying not to hurt league hype by being deliberating misleading to players, impacts their credibility badly.

CW approves the patch notes, and he sees what's happening, then proceeds to intentionally mislead on the livestream and other commentary? He is a very intelligent guy, that clearly thinks before he speaks. I really don't get this at all. Does he really think no one would notice? Just wow.

I'm trying to decide which was patch was nerfed harder Expedition or Crucible. Every single RMR gem mastery gone, ever single mastery node was a nerf. There were so many nerfs that nerfed entire swaths of the game. It's not like getting a triple nerf, this is getting everything nerfed from every direction 20 times.

they did add alot of things but at the same time removed alot of things in the end theres no actual buffs

Started playing SWTOR and touched on Lost Ark again for a laugh so not really in the mood for POE atm.

Might just leave it for a few weeks even maybe a month to see where things are with POE. The new league starts in general after the patch are going to be pure painchamp.

i guess id be doing my almost mirror tier bow with recombinators in std and going into league since i dont want to even try and fix my builds due to another reservation changes.(not sure if i even can..)

to anyone who didnt pay enough attention you can get reservation masteries on weapons with crucible.

You can't make a starter build dependent on a weapon that might cost many divines. Or dependent on a weapon with the reservation you need. How many reservations are you going to have on a single weapon? We lost all of them. How long is it going to take to unlock them? I mean basically this is World of Warcraft's 2nd or 3rd worst idea ever now in PoE (Azurite gear).

So you can guarantee Crucible is going core? I think not.


It's taking the streamers 3-4 hours to go thru these patch notes, and they are mostly reading nerfs. This is getting crazy when it takes this long, and there are so many changes.
