I'm glad you brought that up. In that link, there's 30 pages of reviews. I had to go all the way to the 10th page, as in a third through the all reviews, just to find a review that was below 7/10. Then I started on the back with all the 0/10 reviews dragging the game down, and a lot of them didn't even comment on the game at all. They just complain about server issues and all that. How many of them were written as soon as the game was out? And what will happen when they realize the servers are no longer an issue?

As for the dreadful Error 37, I had that a lot, too. But instead of complaining about it, I did something about it and tried to solve it. It took some time, but I did it. If I try to play solo, I get disconnected after a few minutes (even now). But if I play in co-op and join General Chat, the error is gone. So far I have one of each of the five classes. The lowest is lvl 24, the highest lvl 38. And I love every second of it.

Yes, Diablo 3 has flaws, but so what? As I said, it's a game that keep growing. Not through mod-support, as one of you said, but through patches, updates and expansions. Diablo 2 was patched up to 2010, as far as I know. That's 9 years or so after it was released. Diablo 3 has been out less than two weeks, and you already expect it to match the balance and has as few bugs as Diablo 2. That's not realistic at all.

You didn't solve it if you are still getting disconnected every few minutes in solo play.

Huge problem. The game deserves its low rating. Any game with the problems D3 has had deserves low scores, regardless of their rabid fanbase. Even if D3 was EXACTLY what I was looking for as a sequel, it still would deserve less than an average score due to problems.

In time that will change and its score will increase... but until then..

I didn't solve it, because it's a problem with the server. But instead of whining about it, I found a work-around that, you know, works. So instead of spending my time on forums telling the world how much I hate the crappy, shitty game that doesn't work, I play it. It could be because I'm older than 12, though. I'm used to taking care of things myself when they don't work, instead of whinig about it until someone solved it for me.

And no, if Diablo 3 is everything you wanted in a sequel like you said, it deserves a high rating. Saying it deserves a low rating because of a stupid error makes as much sense as saying it deserves a 0/10 because there's no Amazon in it.

But anyway, I'm done discussing Diablo 3. Don't even bother mention it to me again. If you hate it, that's fine. I don't care. But idiotic, whiny fanboys have almost ruined the experience for me as it is, and it has to stop.

Some people just like to buy broken products and not complain about it.

It is a quality product. Zeto is going in to every thread he can find just to say how awful D3 is. That is trolling. If there forums were not a joke he would not remain a moderator for long (and you would have been banned a long time ago, but I'm sure you know that^^)

I'm joining in conversation with reasonable explanations and analysis with reasonable opinions. I am allowed to do that.. particularly as a mod who has to go through these threads to make sure people aren't tearing each other apart :P

You don't have to like what I have to say, and you can defend D3 as much as you want... neither of us have anything to gain. It's like people getting into fights over their favorite sports teams. It's just plain ignorant.
