No, this is NOT what your OP said. You specifically mention this non-existent p2w issue. If you were asking for the craft to come back, this would have been a much shorter conversation and thread. But lets get real: so the craft comes back...how would that be ANY different than how it is currently? Now instead of the Gifts themselves you would be TFTing harvest materials. It would be exactly the same and you'd have the SAME complaint because...you do not want to farm them yourself.

TFT is something completely outside the control of GGG. It will ALWAYS exist. No matter what changes they make in-game. And whatever problems you have with it now, you will STILL have given your complete misunderstanding of the p2w terminology and some ghost-in-the-machine cartel thing you imagine existing. There are people who corner the market on certain items, but that has NOTHING to do with TFT. It is simply a natural occurence in item-based rpgs. People are *gasp BETTER than you at the game! Or at least doing a specific monotonous task as efficiently as possible.

Lmao at the "social status is a p2w thing". Social status COMING from p2w is a thing: but THERE IS NO P2W. I've played cellphone games where if you spend enough money in the first week you will insurmountably gain daily leverage over everyone else. THAT is social status P2W. Being able to farm efficiently in PoE is something anyone can do, given enough time and experience. No one is PAYING real money for the ability to do this.

Exactly this. I've never used it either and I keep good bases on hand if I get a good enchant which only adds to the profit. Like I mentioned I sold all my Gifts. People are paying way too much.

Is spamming labs all day fun? No but most things have become a spam in this game now.
Pretty much why I haven't played since the 8th day of launch this league.

That happens in most games with trading.
Whether or not your aware of it is the only difference here.

Warframe had the Riven Mafia but most go unnoticed because they're a select group of people with lots of currency who stay quiet about it. It's esp common in games with an AH system. Before Bind on Pickup became a standard in MMOs it was the top guild on the server that took this spot.

These groups will buy out all of a required raid consumable the day before reset then re-post them for double the cost. Now most of those are bots. In old MMOs they had people willing to swap out sitting for boss spawn windows thus no one else got their loot. Far as this specific interaction it's just paid services which has been a thing forever + favoritism I guess.

This is a concept old as MUDs and it's why all those older MMOs were social games even if you played most your time solo. Knowing people is power. I'm not defending the helm enchant system and I never will but this is the wrong podium to preach from.

If you are too poor to afford Gifts but want them, YES YOU SHOULD FARM INSTEAD OF DOING LABS.
