Guys, contact your internet service providers and send them your WinMTR reports.

They'll help you figure it out.

It isn't a GGG issue.

It clearly is a GGG issue when a part of their playerbase cant play the game. And the problem is ONLY for poe, i can play every other multiplayer game without a single lagspike. So how is this not a GGG problem?

Also their page is down for multiple time last days, something is clearly wrong on their end.

When i contact my internet provider they will say they can not help me and everything is fine. And even if i would get some kind of report, what would it change? I cant do anything to fix it. It has to be done by GGG (like some seasons ago when this problem was present too).

It isn't a GGG issue. Stop trying to shift blame.

The fact that your ISP says "everything is fine" just proves how bad they are. They don't know what to test for.

This thread is full of people that don't know how networks work, and I guarantee you, it is your ISP's causing issues.

NOT a GGG issue.

And how exactly do networks work? Please, explain. To us and to GGG.
I tried playing through landline internet connection, I tried it through 5G hotspot (different provider), I've set up OpenVPN in Frankfurt, connected to it.. and the problem is still here. Spikes and unexpected disconnects. Since yesterday. No such issues before.

glad its not just me, this league has been horrible with lag spikes, I even get straight up desyncs on lockstep. as in my character just jumps across the screen desynced.
R.I.P. my beloved P.o.E.
I have good PC specs, I play with my GF, and we both have horrible fps drops since 3.20.

It's definetly GGG faut..
Have lag spikes since 3 days.
Can anyone please explain why?
I run the WinMTR and understand nothing there.

Many thanks in advance
@eday4 in your case its 100% on your end. contact telekom or restart your router, or dont use wifi if thats the case. you are losing 14% of the packets from start to end on your route to GGGs server.
@millenium404 dont feed the trolls. it is 100% on either GGGs or GGGs providers end. those issues have nothing to do with end users in most cases.

Right.. Shift blame..

Not like I didn't run WinMTR & Wireshark while playing POE so I could determine that it wasn't an issue from my end when the instance occurred. I just came on the forum to bash GGG because I don't have basic troubleshooting knowledge.

It honestly seems like you're the one with no knowledge on the subject. Since anyone with basic knowledge in this field would know that the commonality is GGG-related and not the users ISP, unless everyone in the world who's having this issue had the same ISP.

Okay man, you do you.

So, care to share the findings you've discovered that 100% show that it isn't your ISP's fault?

Oh... you don't have any? On the contrary?

Ahhh... yes of course.

There isn't a single report in here that doesn't incriminate either the ISP or the users' own local network being at fault.
@FlyingThundah
a router restart solve my problem thanks a lot.
