3.20 NERFS PREDICTIONS

Inquisitor's Pious Path and possibly Sanctuary and/or even Consecrated Ground in general, possibly both for players and monsters.

Pious Path is absolutely insane. I wish GGG would buff other ascendancies' defenses to be on par with it, but I think it's far more likely to just get nerfed. Consecrated Ground is quite strong with both the regen and the curse effectiveness reduction, and it's pretty busted on high HP monsters.

An idea being terrible or unwanted never stopped GGG before when they saw an opportunity to add RNG.

It is precisely for this reason that I have abandoned them.

Add Doryani's Prototype and Aegis Aurora to that.

Problem:
Too many players still play the league.
Solution:
Reduce every aspect of the game. Loot/Damage/Defensives. Buff mobs more, to feel unbearable.

Too many players are still killing bosses that we put a terrible effort into designing ( by designing we mean extreme life that get's even more crazy, and immune phases (because we are lazy) so that they can actually attack even if we buffed the hell out of them)
Solution:
Reduce even more every aspect of the game starting with loot so that players cannot build their char, even more damage nerfs so that they can barely reach red maps, even more defensive nerfs because we don't like chars actually surviving mechanics that are not intended to be survived.

Problem:
We noticed that trade is a little bit too clutter still with 1c items, after we made it perfectly clear that we want uniques to be unique.
Solution:
Make divines even rarer, remove eldritch currency, and anything that might remotely give the player a crafting solution. This way we ensure that uniques are getting bought, and the market isn't over flown.

Problem:
It is clear to us now that players are still using TFT after we thought that harvest nerf will kill it. It was our bad decision to nerf it to the ground in an attempt to avoid players from getting scammed on TFT and give players a low version of crafting that is more secure.
Solution:
Remove harvest completely. At this point people are only using if for fractures and add crit anyway.

Problem:
We made it clear that we want players to waste several hours into trade so that when they finally trade for that juicy item they feel a sense of completion, and they are overpopulated with joy hormones for spending playing hours trying to find the mods they want in the searching list, that has a regex that for most players is like learning quantum physics, to get the item.
Solution:
Start banning TFT users, make the trade even more obnoxious by adding a math captcha to every filter that you add. The problem will be easy to solve for anyone and range from college degree math problems to quantum physics problems for high end items that have multiple modifiers. This way we ensure that not only you get a sense of satisfaction, but you also learn some math when trading 1.7 divs for an item.
This will be implemented without a restart so you can start learning math faster get better jobs and buy MTX as soon as the league starts.


Problem:
People are not playing the league for more than a week, which hurts our mtx sales. We need them to play it for 1 month when the prices saturate and we actually get the money back from developing another copy pasted mechanic. We don't want a bigger audience or to fix the league for 3 months, we just want to rush to the cookie jar as soon as possible and start working towards another one.
Solution:
Pay streamers in different things to advertise that the game is good, some random strategies that do million of currency even though we will nerf them soon. Also ban anyone advertising against GGG or advertises shampoo. Remove any unwanted posts from forum, and put on probation whoever has constructive criticism that we don't want.

Problem:
Loot piñatas are making the game unrewarding for some while some call cullers to get some decent loot. This is not something we desired and something we want to address.
Solution:
Remove loot pinatas. Make MF even harder to come by , and make culling strike not apply MF/Quntity over the kill. This way we ensure that no one get's the good loot and you can scavage through tons of fractured junk and fractured flasks.

Problem:
Even though people are crying about map sustain, which is our end game by the way, we still find it that people are running them too fast, and trivializing our philosophy of you having to sleep in the game to progress.
Solution:
Small atlas nodes now grant 1% chance to get lower tier map than you are currently playing instead of 1% to drop an additional connected map or 1% chance to get a tier 1 higher map.
Logic behind this change: Reversing the logic of progressing through the atlas is somehow something we have thought about. This way people won't rush the end game as fast as they can, instead they will have to get 3 maps to use the recipe and get a map of one tier higher. This change will affect the actual atlas and is subject to be changed to -2 lower tier map in the future if people still play effective.

Problem:
Clutter screen and on screen effects are becoming hard to control, and players are crying that they cannot see anything on the screen, which in terms result
Solution:
Develop more colorful MTX. This way we push the game towards pay to win and solution the problem with on death effect. Our new "on death corrosive ground pink MTX" is on sale and you can find it here.

Some evil thoughts.

-deleted half of the skills. Reason- deleted skills are not compatible with poe2.

-removed Mind over matter and all that archetype. Reason- hey there is energy shield and corrupted soul which works similar to MoM, and anyways it just gets in a way.

-life recovery (and gain) is nerfed by 70% across the board and capped at 20% hp/sec. Reason- its just too strong. Also we did not change RF because we havent decided what to do with it with those nerfs. Mobs not changed, we want to beta test it on live servers.

-Enemies now hit your character specific places, like head in which case only defenses from helm applies. This is a nerf to armor, and energy shield remains same since its energy shield.

-blocking now has 1 second cooldown, to reduce cooldown use block recovery! reason- block recovery is not used by anyone.

-lake of kalandra is now in standard (after league end). It as any other league is now severely nerfed.

-life tap, eldritch battery, reduced mana cost are all severely nerfed since we noticed that players avoid investing into mana by not spending mana at all. Now everything is in line with mana.

Well unless they want the D4 beta to completely swamp the next legaue (or two), they better focus on legaue content, perhaps some new skills, and taking it easy with the nerf hammer (unless something is wildly out of whack)

If they do anything like some of what I've seen in this thread, without anything really cool, new, or updated to do, then its DoA.

*side note- Some of the pearl clutching is hilarious. The need to destroy needlessly makes no sense. Clayshaper.... lmfao
