Since this thread was started a month and a half ago, I am sure that GGG are aware. And LOL at the botter, at least remove the "new player detected" from the text. Must be a noob.

Key Cloning and botting are 2 completely different thing, as they say ignorance is bliss it seems to be true. a "Bot" is s completely automated as in you set it upa nd it runs on its own. "Key Cloning" is where you press 1 key and it does the same on all other clients. COMPLETELY different as there is NOTHING automated about it. As for you're pretty bold comment, I know what i am talking about and is the ONLY reason I responded to this post as I am sick of people accusing legit players of cheating because they have no senes to research it and lack the logic to see the difference. Multiboxxing is a legit style of gameplay and the reason I love to multibox is because I love micromanaging a ton and as I said I didn't start doing it in this game until people kept ninjaing my loot. I agree that people should not be key cloning in this game as witht he right style, build, and gear you can run those clients and only use 1 to clear a map, regardless it is not botting, please look up the definition of botting before commenting. I mean you are free to comment but the more you know the better off you are. Multiboxing has been a part for gaming for years and always will be. People seem to think that is gives some unfair advantage but again what people do not realize is that they still have to gear all those guys to progress so it is harder to run multiple clients as there is A LOT more you have to pay attention to and A LOT more items and gems and currency needed to progress. Botting and multiboxing are different and if GGG says no more, well then I goo find another game to spend money on with all my clients as with each client comes more stash tabs needed for each client. As long as people are not running bots, real bots then there is nothing wrong with multiboxing but if they are botting then they should be banned. I don't like cheaters and lazy people.

I'm sorry. Do you key clone when you multibox?

No I do not, but that still does not constitute "botting". People have been multiboxing for YEARS and if GGG got rid of it, I for one, would find a new game to be able to do it on as I enjoy the complexity of it. I like having to micro manage multiple characters and/or toons at once.

Since Afghanistan and being hurt over there, there was little that I enjoyed when I got home, gaming in itself didn't fulfill taking my mind off from or off things. Then I Learned about multiboxing and so it began that I found something that engukfed my mind so much during gameplay, that I was able to get my mind away from specific things for a good period of time.

People seem to think that multiboxing and botting have something in common, in which in a few areas they MIGHT have some MINUTE things in common but the complexity of the 2 is completely different and most know any tool can bot, very few can multbox.

On another note, GGG has made multiboxing even more complex and before they actually said, "Any automation is against the ToS" I realised how tough it was and how much more fun it had made it. Witht he tight narrow spaces in a lot of the maps and the fact there is no auto follow feature on top of not being able to stack characters, it was a whole new ball game for multiboxing, for me anyway.

I see multiboxing being killed already int his game due to the whiners who cannot carry themselves through a complex game so I would expect them to cry when they see someone multiboxing that can not only carry themselves through the game but to carry multiple other characters through as well. They want to be carried, they don't want multiboxing for that purpose.

Lastly, multiboxers help pay for the game and I personally don't use "mule accounts" to store Items, I have over 37 stash tabs on 1 account and that is to support the game. All you people crying about multiboxers and the economy need to put your money where your mouth is as I have seen quite a few talking about making mule accounts for stash and then go and cry about multiboxers. It's good for you as long as it works for you but if it doesn't then complain and cry.

Multiboxing or botting, who gives a crap? same shit different day. Before patch I saw a lot of people running Pickits (thats why you never see a 5L-6L drop). I like the fact that multiboxers are so offended when you call them botters, in the end, imo its still an unfair advantage and you are abusing the games' mechanics, but what can I say, enjoy? spend 2k on your hardware just to have a few more pixels than the next guy, and rub the eepeeen.

multiboxing is bad, and you know it. it's a cheat to obtain x time more loot.
botting is bad also, is a cheat to obtain loot and experience without spending time playing.

both should be banned because make the game easy and less fun, botting also can alter the economy of the game itself;
but nobody can't erase greediness from mankind so these will always be present in games "kill, gain" like this.

these two cheat systems can't and shouldn't be accepted, since who uses them gain an advantage on who doesn't

i tried botting in D3, lot of fun, had the time to study and gain loot, banned.
i tried multiboxing up to 4 in PoE, not that fun, in the beginning yes, but can't be used to level, too slow for my taste; ain't bad to farm, but meh, i hate to farm.

but since this is a game, and just that to me, i find much more fun playing with random buddies in hi-lev maps than soloing everything like if i were a bot, with one and only purpose, the loot.

said that, i hope they'll be able to develop new functional ways to detect the cheaters and specially make botting not working or impossible to handle.

As well, certain programs use actually clicks when used which means when you click on the one client, it actually clicks on all clients.

So for all you thinking multiboxing will be gone or could be gone, you are wrong as it is WAY harder to catch a multiboxer vs a botter. I do not cheat nor have I ever and have never botted as that is unfair, as far as multiboxing goes, as I said, for most it takes something most do not have which is patience and the ability to micromanage.

Anyways, I am done here I have made my point and say what you will but it is fun.

Oh and to the comment about having a few more pixels, that is a very ignorant statement as I make videos and render out in 1920 x 1080 so I need the computer that I have, this rig was not built for gaming but for work reasons and it actually was cheap to build.
