Multiboxing is not far from botting... botting is a char controled by a computer
multiboxing is 1 char controled by 1 human and 3-4 char controled by a computer mirroring a human... ZiggyD is the Labyrinth of streamers, some like it, some dont, but GGG will make sure to push it down ur throat to make you like it

I said this before kids...
Even if it's not botting, this game WAS NEVER INTENDED to play with multiple clients at the same time which makes it CHEATING. You could also activate some auras on the chars behind you, which actually would make the game easier. Multiboxing = CHEATING. It's an advantage you are not supposed to get. It doesn't require any skills to do, it just requires more CPU power. If GGG doesn't change their minds about this, I will definitely use it myself when I restart playing. I am just tired of being told "it's okay, if you don't make use of it it's your own fault. if I was running things.... i would allow multiboxing. i made it clear that it is allowed.
Then.... I would scan for vmware and such on the clients computer processes and drop all magic+ and currency drops by 75%. I don't think it is cheating but it isn't fair. | |

Why are you trying to trivialize mutliboxing?
It does not matter if its multiboxing or botting. Fact is, people are AUTOMATING CHARACTERS which should of course not be allowed. Actually its pretty sad that you even have to argue with people about this topic and have to justyfy your opinion just because you dont want other people ruin the economy. Yes, now you might say the economy does not matter and blabla, but I will tell you what happens: If people farm items faster then they should and bypass their own "supply and demand proportion" other people will be influenced by it because of the trade system. As a result those people who multibox will become rich(what is not a problem) but all the normal playert will fidn themselves in a situtation that parttaking in the trade sytem will become less and less viable for them. simplyfied its like: multiboxer get rich and buy all exalted for horrendous prices, just because they can. Normal player cant buy those items and can go F*** themselves because their access to high level content is denied. Unbelieveable that Pro Arguments for multiboxing are tolerated and not immidiatly torn apart. Yea yea. Multiboxing. A "Playstyle" I just can laugh at this. What is about my prefered playstyle? I want an ingame command "/bann playername" to get rid of all those idiots. This would really fit my playstyle! |

multiboxes IS cheating...PERIOD. It's ONE real character, and the rest are .. GASP!! BOTS copying the real character. This increases the drops they would never get with just 1 character.

Also its is not "mirroring" as all clients have different toons/characters and all different names and all different client names, as well as different movements do to not being able to stack, try again please. |

More and more reasons to implement good /player X command.
And: IsBoxer actually works as poeple described it. It mirrors your movements to other clients form basic one. And its automated -> For me its 100% bannable offence. More bannable if someone runs auras on other chars, coz it makes it even easier to have 8 up auras all the time, while its allmost impossible in solo play. Cheating part of multibox (90%+ ppl use this tool so stfu coz everyone knows) -> Automating mirror-movement. IGN: PojzonAbyss
