Please stop challenge selling. Preferably make solo only leagues also.

People in this thread not understanding that SSF gives no special trophy and removes one of the core parts of the game, trade. Solo TRADE league is necessary, not SSF.

Why am I playing to get an achievement that's not as exclusive as it should be? Considering the fact they made challenges harder this league it comes across as ridiculous that they allow this.

The challenges are there to challenge the player themself and to unlock mtx. There is no huge internal competition going on to boast how many achievements you obtained in a temp league. The reason most people go for these challenges, is to unlock the mtx. The easiest this can be achieved is by purchasing them from other players.

It is all about the mtx. If there were none, most wouldn't even log on temp league.

I care. Why play an online persistent game you can't achieve and brag about stuff in? This is the problem, that most of you literally don't care. GGG should make you care. Otherwise what is the appeal to stay and play? That appeal is fading because of this stuff.

Who do you care about other players so much?
did you had fun playing the game? so you like to challenge yourself some more; sure thats fine; but do not force your way of playing the game upon me.
I like to play the challenges hybride; i try to do a couple myself; and a buy some of them; that is the way i like to play this game, and that is how i have fun. and part of the fun is getting those mtx rewards.
Beside that i do not like to play with other people beside trade interaction. some people think otherwise and love party play... good thing we are not all the same...
They only reason you would care about this very much is because you want absolute bragging rights.

Either solo play the game and get the challenges, or just grind currency and buy some/all of them; in the end the only thing that matters to the individual player is thay had fun in the progress, after all.. its just a game that (the majority) plays for its entertainment, nothing more, nothing less.
The least thing i can care about is someone else bragging on how fantastic they think they are while in fact nobody cares......

so you want to still benefit from other players work but are upset other people are benefiting from other players work?


ssf does have a special trophy, its the bit where you mention you did it in ssf when ur bragging.

I recently started a thread in GD about how some POE players show unethical behaviour ingame. No one literally cares. "It is just a game." Do you think people care about items? "No, it is just pixels." Anyone caring for mtx? "Can I remove mtx in game option settings" Why collect items or listen to npcs, "I just want to pew pew pew." No one cares about the fact that most uniques were designed by oldschool supporters. "It is all fuckin junk. It aint no mageblood." In Vaal league, GGG introduces the Vaal Reliquary key to give players the chance to get unique foiled versions of items. "Dun't care. Is shit, sell for one chaos."

With this general attitude in this game, you won't get many people agreeing with you.

Dude doesnt have fun unless he is "exclusive". Talk about needing to feed a weak ego with wrong stuff.

I don't see the problem, you can do the ones your build can do. Buy the others with the currency you got playing the game.

Myself i bought the 10 uniques with the unrelenting emblems and the 20 puddles on uber elder. When i was trying to uber elder challenges i would be killing the bosses just clearing the adds in the room and it made it impossible unless i could just afk and tank everything hitting me. The 10 uniques is cheaper to do for 1 ex than to buy the emblems and do it yourself.

It wasn't that my character wasn't capable of doing the challenges or they were too hard. Its just a waste of time and currency to completely level a tanky char or one that didnt do screen clear dps. Good luck paying someone to carry you to 600 delve or to do 2k altars for you. You cant buy your way to 40 challenges imo.

And to be clear, your character not being tanky enough to afk run in circles in UE means you shouldnt get 40/40. Yes you can't buy the grinds, thank god, but your character should simply not have 40/40. You have made a bad character building decision if you can't tank and afk in that fight. Simple as that. My correct decision should be rewarded with something you can't get with your wrong, badly made character.

Did you find/craft all the gear on your perfect character yourself? If not then you were carried by other players & you don't deserve 40/40.
