They shouldn't let you buy challenges, but they should also be achievable for more players as a result. However buying challenges is easy business for them and costs them nothing so it'll be here to stay.
It devalues them but ehh, what doesn't? Playing a meta cuck build is a bigger crutch than buying most challenges and in my experience the 40/40s tend to be playing such. Whereas if you got 40/40 this league as a pestilent strike chad then you deserve kudos even if you bought a couple. Swings and roundabouts really.
