Why is Mathil able to do everything that is impossible according to most of the complains here?

But said respondents won't include me, at least until you realise what you're arguing against doesn't even exist.

and by "does not exist", you clearly overlook the guy posting literally next to me talking about mathil's achievements winning demis etc

how convenient :)
Yeah, fair enough. I did miss that. So that's one. Have fun arguing with him.
The name says it all.

How much time do YOU spend in game, chasing carrots? Going on websites that compare stats, passives and gear? Using planner applications and trade tools?

I spend around 2-3 hours a day, sometimes less, sometimes more. I have a full 8-16 job, that often requires me to work from home after hours (teacher), I have friends I like to spend some time with, and I have a fiancé I also like to spend time with.

Now, have I beaten every non-Uber boss in the game this league? Yes. Will I be attempting the Uber fights? Yes, but I'm not in a hurry. Do I feel "locked out of any content in the game"? No.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

the fact that so many people in this thread who think mathil is actually good at this game is kind of sad

so once upon a time 7 years ago when nobody played this game and "competitive" poe rewarded demis to people who had the highest level character by nolifing easy content, mathil was definitely in the top echelon in that regard

wow! so much skill. anyway, its 2022, its time to wake up

Playing POE take Time and delication, Playing 12 hrs a day for a few years and that will sap all the life out of you.

Can you nolifing easy content though? 20,000+ hours let you beat all content. Most people can't and wouldn't do that. You can be bad at the game and still be clearing content.

In a way this game take more determination than skill. Determination is far more important than ability in forever games.

i mean you also missed the other guy telling me how he and CW thinks mathil is that expert/master but ok i get it, you likely didnt read any of the posts up until the one you quoted seeing as how every other person replying actually thought mathil is good at the game

hes a professional.. streamer. if poe shut down today mathil would barely be affected by it, he would just stream another game with the same viewership. his foundation isnt gone. i mean if you follow this logic asmongold is a professional wow player, but also a professional lost ark player, and a pro v rising player, a pro elden ring player, a pro ff14 player. do you guys not see how stupid this looks? theyre professional streamers. thats it. theyre not professionals in every game that shows up on their twitch.

an actual professional for a game is someone like gingi in wow. if wow shuts down, so does his sponsorship. unlike mathil, gingi is tied to wow the game.
I would say playing SC Trade helps a lot playing underperforming skills that have a bad gameflow like channeling skills or delayed damage.

I saw him play Spectral Throw one league and he admitted it was shit, even on trade league pumping lots of currency into it.

Also does he use POB before making "underperformed" skills work or goes full blind?

Would be curious to watch him make a full SSF run one league and see how long it takes to make the characters feel good.

Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
"A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body."

Only usable with Ethanol Flasks
On the skill aspect:

Inthink mathils is a professional and actual good gamer when it comes to reflexes, movement and positioning. He isnt the best build maker and theory crafter though.

Im the exact opposite in the sense that i suck at game mechanics but i craft good builds that can outright ignore said game mechanics.

probably true of life in general tbh. most successful people have little in the way of skills anyone really needs or wants but a lot of drive to have got where they are.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

.. 50ex investment) play 2 or 3 build...

My friend I saw about 3~4 ex drop in the whole league, putting together everything I sold and traded doesn't come close to 30ex. I have no doubt that any casual would play the game as if they had the time to level 3 builds of 50 ex each. but the reality is that 90% of working people only have time for 1 (maximum 2) characters per league and they in large numbers will NEVER see more than 10ex and that's the point, PoE is an EXTREMELY elitist game with a barrier RIDICULOUS that drives away normal players and leaves here only those who can waste their lives playing or those who live playing. A complete college has an average of 3 thousand hours, there are people here who do half of that in a league, that is, every two leagues you throw 1 college AWAY. understand the problem with PoE?

I'm working a full time job. Since gaming is my main hobby I still game almost every day 2-3 hours, but still skip some days and play other games in between, but always catch up on weekends playing 4-6 hours.

It's the 40th day of the League today, and my total playtime is 158 hours which might seem a lot, but that's actually only 4 hours a day which again might seem a lot for a casual, but let's not forget that some of that time comes from extra hours during the weekend.

I suck at the game, yet I still made over 200 ex this League:
~100 ex gear with Omniscence
~41 ex for Astragali bought yesterday
~10 ex for Black Scythe logbooks spent yesterday
~Inventory: 22 ex, 5000 c (27 ex), 3500 decks (35 ex)

And a GOOD PLAYER would easily make even more.

With my suboptimal speed and suboptimal farming strategies I could still make 100 ex in 85 hours and 50 ex in 40 hours.

So, yes, even the most casual player can make 50 ex per league.

Hello i havent read thread only first post
