The death of PoE is near. Diablo 4 is coming in 2023, before PoE 2!

The moment D4 will come out this game with its current "balance" and "vision", gatcha one-shots, uber-uber bosses, "trading", will be dead. It's easy to survive when there is no competition. But these times are coming to an end. Was a great journey, thank you Chris. The game was going downhill since 3.15 anyway.

Im starting to think all these threads are just copy paste memes cuz they all been identical saying the same thing "the death of poe becuz of this Y thing" besides you do realize diablo 4 will be PAY TO WIN as much as diablo immortals righ? PoE will stay free to play wich is why its always gonna be superior and they release new content every 3 months instead of never like they did with diablo 3 and theres gonna be 1/10 of the content in diablo 4 on release what PoE has so yeah have fun playing that unfinished pay to win game from a company who only cares pay to win mechanics

Path of Exile ,despite it's many flaws is very very good product.
Even Diablo 4 if done poorly will be hardly any competition.

Path of exile targets other kind of rpg gamers than diablo.
Here the game want's some thinking and building of character ,while the Diablo games are just mostly casual fun.

If done very well it will be some competition.

If done masterfully ( which i doubt they will seing their last products) it will be a huge competition.

Chris had the niche all for himself and his team so far, but yeah.. Time will tell how Blizzard are going to make d4.

So far roumours are whispering that the same mtx-es from immortal are gonna be in d4 as well ,which isn't good news..

Glad we have an offical here telling us when PoE 2 is coming out.

Oh no! Doom and gloom!

PoE is already dead, since utimatun the game has only gotten worse, the fun has left Oriath and all we have is a boring game dominated by 3 builds all using the memos 2~3 items that only exist to solve the problems that the systematic nerfs created, PoE there are boss fights every day more ridiculous and more similar to fall guys gymkhanas where you run after balls in a monochromatic scenario while running away from a death ray, nobody cares about the boss because in the end he is just a pinata of currency. The game is dead and the proof of that is that since ultimatum the game doesn't win players today it has the same traction as the bankrupt new world and 20 times less active players than lost ark. Don't get me wrong I love the game but it's a fact that there was a negative turn and that the game has been going for a long time and has already been surpassed a lot by other games. when the forum whale says "if you don't like it, don't play" it's exactly what the players did, you just didn't notice

Yeah, it will be dead. For two weeks. I guess it will take around this much for people to do everything, realize Diablo 4 has nothing to offer end-game wise and be back to PoE that is pretty much all end-game centered.

You misunderstand. D2 and D2:LoD were games we played for over a decade.

If they don't mess this up the genre is going to experience a giant sucking sound siphoning everything up into Diablo.

Diablo 4 is made by people who made Diablo Immortal, not people who made Diablo 2.

Netease made DI with probably creative direction from Blizzard. That's why it's so heavily monetized and they didn't adjust it to western standards. Likely too coded into the direction it was to do anything about it in the time required.

I do not expect D4 to be like DI in any regard. An entire new team was stood up to make D4. So it's not exactly Blizzard south either.
