PoE = Path of Kaoms Heart, Solution = Buff hp on chests

I wouldnt want the item to get a nerfed tbh. I rather see something else with our current defensive system. Armor / Evasion <- no love. Not even whort to pick if you're not going for 94%+ damage reduction, wich isnt even enough for some bosses in this game... even if you include enfable.

But I've never liked legacy items / nerfed items. I rather see something bigger, MECHANIS change.
The armor / evasion, hell even the acc system is so bad its not even whort considering going something that dosnt rely on RT, spells or a LG. (There is some builds that dosnt count on either, but you get my point. Its hard to get 95% acc. Really really really hard.)

Thats how the current game is. Thats why this item is OP.

I partially agree...but if they buff armor Evasion.. that will just make the people with kaoms 100% invincible vs 75% invincible.

Kaoms life bonus should be halved.

I dont think you really got my point. I'm more used to talk with more "experienced" players about this. I thought it was kinda obvious by now a hp overhaul is needed.

Or there can be punisment forhaving large health pool and regeneration combo. Like mobs that steal es/hp from high hp/es characters/mobs and spread around other targets as temporary shield.
So health_stolen/ES = max(0, target_HP+target_ES-(caster_max_hp+caster_max_Es) )
ES get's stolen first.

Shield spreads on lower hp characters first. Set those monster health to 2k. And you don't need for overblown damage to pierce 4k hp regeneration tanks.

Add this as aura if feeling evil, or as castable monster spell and here you have it.
If it is based on maximum amounts that skill would only work once and have no very large effect unless your regeneration too high. And if your hp/es regen is to fast you leak large amounts of shield once you go over average amount of health/es.

No. Buff base HP, nerf equipment HP. That includes Kaom's.

Kaoms heart will still be overpowered if they did a "hp overhaul" The item is completely broken. My duelist wears one and never dies. Ever I use him to kill shit for my alts or boost people or if I need a little currency I log on him and steam roll lvl 70+ maps in less than 5 mins. Reflect ..lulz.... huge pack of rhoas? lulz double curse map with GMP magic packs errywhere? lulz..... the item makes the game a joke.

I think it's more than just an item. it's a manifestation of all that is broken, and a statement by GGG: "yes we are aware of the problem and won't do a damn thing to fix it. intentionally".

best chest piece in the game = ~600 armour, no sockets, +1000 HP. no extras.
yep, that sounds about right.

other games are too complicated: they have resistances on their best armour. damage reduction/reflection. chance to dodge. giant armour values... some boost to HP maybe, but not as a main feature.
hell, my 1300+ armour +all-elemental-resists, 4-link 5-socket Astral Plate would be valued much higher in a "complicated" game.

this is being straightforward. this is saying: "welcome to Path Of Exile. the game where you either stack HP or get your ass kicked. sure you can also do other less important stuff like resists, damage, attack speed, dodging... all this nonsense. but make sure you stack enough HP while you're at it".

It really is extremely comical. Truly, it would be hilarious if someone photo shopped some arms, legs, and a face, onto a pic of Kaom's Heart and made him the official mascot of "Path of Life nodes". An item, that has no sockets, and a piss poor amount of armor, is still probably the best item in the entire game, SOLELY because of the +1000 hp, that really does say a LOT right there about the state of balance in this game.
