I remember that being one of the forum topics that was quite popular to bitch about. It was nearly as common as the POE is dead and desync threads. There was a joke thread a long time ago about what the rest of the devourer looked like under the surface as well and I recall thinking it was pretty funny. I'm fairly certain I couldn't find it at this point though.

This has been brought up 500 times, and Chris stated once that they consider doing it but it would be a lot of work and may be a while (if ever). Which is a little weird because the chinese version has some kind of death cap, but it might be pretty shallow. either way maybe one day

Read the post again. I had more than determination. Way more.

Goats and other mobs which have leap attacks for whatever reason plow you with many layers of defense.

This one came from Quin's chat. Watch it. The guy for a second is reading the essences that just dropped and in that time leap attacks off screen destroy him through grace, determination, defiance banner and 5.5k life.

It's not just goats but certain regular mob attacks. They have resolute technique, massive crit adjustments and stun thresholds. Like the giant skeletons in the early acts. They just don't miss and they can crit bomb you.
