Whats the point of purposefully frustrating & annoying mechanics

the games pretty rewarding in whites this league, we have ones where they definitely don't but AFAIK AN isn't altered by map quantity/rarity and you can put so many monsters in a regular map that you get the juiced feeling anyway.

My preferred choice is a reasonable rare for mapping but I do occasionally do a set of blue or whites and don't really feel punished this league for that.

dont forget inspired learning gamers. the mod was added to the possible mods you could get after they made hexproof part of the mod pool

While I do find them annoying, not being there makes like 50% of the mobs useless.

Not being slowed , or brittled or something, makes some chars too powerful and mobs being just dummies.

I would just reduce the pack size and make mobs more relevant not the other way around were there are lots of them and hopefully come stupid combination of interactions gives you troubles.

Also I would nerf status stealing like HH and Inspired learning. I find it broken and to be honest boring.

I was really hyped that I got a HH in standard , got to play it 2 maps and then I said "neahhhh"...Now I don't even want to buy it on league.

I mean , I get it people wants big edicks with stash full of currency, but I do not see the purpose of doing that once the content is just "get in pick get out", except for RMT which is a sad consequence of having more than you need...

But it is what it is and that's it.

You cannot get anymore wrong. RMT is not a consequence of having more than you need. Its the opposite, when people dont have what they need they gonna RMT to get it. If they have enough, they will never fork out real cash for ingame baubles.
POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1.

no, people rmt because they want things now without doing the work, it doesnt matter how easy it is to obtain, unless its literally handed out for free

Playing a game should not be seen as work. Farming to get to a goal is great when the game gives you access to said goal in a deterministic way.

PoE does not reward you time invested with gear upgrades, but a very low chance of an upgrade that take weeks to setup.

No other game has done this.

Diablo 1 and 2 : the loot is the game, there is nothing more
Grim Dawn : Loot is the game, but you can slap more power into it when you "infuse" said gear.
Last Epoch : Crafting is deterministic, upgrades are RNG based but deterministic by nature.

PoE : Triple layer of RNG and no weight on what tier of mod can roll.

I don't know why GGG does that and never thought of a deterministic way of upgrading the tier of the mods of you items even if it is a low chance of success.
Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic...
If we could remove Grasping Vines I'd be happy.
