Whats the point of purposefully frustrating & annoying mechanics
Duality. How can you not be annoyed unless you have once been annoyed?

" Did'nt say i was dying to it :) just for the record...lol i did say it could kill you though in two shots. I did ask if anyone knows what damage those skelly firebolts are doing, but nobody really knows themselves i think cause nobody mentioned it yet, cause its certainly not fire ! well at least i dont think it is..ahah see i dont know I put 85% max res cause my friend plays with us on his aurabot. we infact have higher physical damage, life regen and all the other bells and whistles. also my hero cant take critical hit if enemy is poisoned. But those specific firebolts still hit hard and those new archnemesis swiggly lightning things. Who knows, maybe that fraction of a second gets their firebolt off before my first poison and because the firebolt could already be in motion could still cause a critical hit ? GGG does'nt confirm that kind of stuff or has ever i think. I also think that there could be a small amount of monster attacks/spells (not many BTW) that deal high or certain damage regardless of your defences in order to give you the feeling of being on that edge if it hits, you know ? |

The skellies are definitely on the overtuned side but they aren't that bad, glad you weren't actually dying to it though like those defences are stacked and i'd feel extremely confident on HC with them.
I feel like players forget that our last league involved running around maps taking 200% increased damage and we managed that just fine -_- Peoples mileage may vary but most of the "annoying" mechanics are just slightly mechanical challenge or a build objective to try and sap some glass cannon dps. Like volatiles really aren't that annoying, they have a very distinct audio cue and they track and move at a speed suitable for you to find a good area to pop one and do so. Same for boombooms though personally I think boombooms are so irrelevant they may as well not be a thing. Grasping vines though is like corrupted blood prior to timed immunity on flasks, its fine if you delete the mob in short order but if it keeps autostacking back to 10 in a matter of moments its very frustrating, it also completely punishes some builds and is fairly irrelevant to others. |

" Well, certainly there's a lot of sneaky stuff going on to make that so :-). But I do believe there's options available once it has been figured out what it exactly is. Did you try turning it off and on again?

well thats were i laugh, cause if it looks and burns like a fireball i assume it does fire damage. but it appears soemthing else could be in there.
I did realise a long time back that the fireballs that chase you around and then explode and can kill you in one shot with low defence would be reduced a lot by fire res at max cap. still taking damage i then thought physical damage reduction because of the actual explosion. Turns out that spell suppression reduces the damage the most on it. yeah sure, its likely doing fire and physical damage and because its probably labled as a spell then thats were the extra defense is needed to reduce the damage. I think spell suppression reduces it the most, which is weird in my mind. |

The need to have currancy in inventory to trade with vendor is quite annoying.
Summon skeleton shrine in as close second, because its annoying as hostile shrine as well as taken as a buff, well until i realised that i can dismiss buffs. Last edited by Andrius319#4787 on Mar 17, 2022, 12:32:34 AM

whats the point of monsters doing damage ?
dieing is no fun and clicking heal flask sucks too . |

" AFAIK Volatile blood is 50% fire 50% phys and its based off the attack damage of the monster that spawned it not its HP, so say a Skeleton's volatile is more deadly than a bear or a statues. Spell Suppression is mechanically busted, its amazing we've kept it |

" kinda why you buy mageblood... since flasks suxx `Spent 2 mirrors on my build, but I'm only Level 98.` LOL
`From just quick sweep of your characters, toxic rain, golems .. sure, non meta... sure.` LOL `What are divs?` |

" Just looked up your profile. You have 75% max res, not 85%. You got 75% spell supression, not 93%. 0% spell block. You also have no protection against critical strikes. So if you get oneshot by a Fireball from a skeleton. It's probably safe to assume that it might have been an Elemental crit that went through your spell suppression. You got 54k EHP. People in this thread are right. You can build around everything and be tanky. Your build is squishy and you can solve it by getting defensive layers. There's a reason why people are able to literally build immortal builds. Your build is not tanky at all and it has glaring weaknesses that opens you up to oneshots. While the game does have some stupid crap, it's not like you're unable to build around it. Your build can make alot of changes to actually become tanky. But instead you come here and say it's impossible with fabricated statsof your own character. Last edited by Deadandlivin#2745 on Mar 17, 2022, 8:37:43 AM
