Great example of somebody accidentally justifying that which they are complaining about as unjustified.

Yes it's a large investment, but they pay it off in a matter of days with the ~2ex/person entrance fee alone. It's not like they need the jewels or even that the jewels help them recoup their investment significantly faster in most cases.

I've said this already but of course I have to repeat myself to people who are too lazy to read a thread before typing up a smug comment.

I don't understand how people can find resetters willing to pay 1.5ex per rota. It sucks so bad compared to just being AFK and reading a book. I wouldn't even do it for free.

Looks like running 5-ways is still 12ex+ per hour net profit plus the hoard of jewels. The fact that nobody is stepping in to fill the niche just goes to show how unpleasant it is to wrangle people to run those all day.

The hosts are making a lot of $$$, true.

Ultimately, it comes down to supply and demand.

There is a lot of demand for XP, and paying a couple ex is worth it for those who think it is.

There is not a lot of supply though... because being a host is f**king painful and time-consuming and just a really un-fun way of playing the game.

If more people wanted to host, then sure, prices would drop and maybe hosts would start offering "you keep loot/jewels" or whatever to be competitive. But the fact is, no one wants to do it AND few builds are capable of doing it effectively, limiting supply.

You're disagreeing with things I'm not saying. That's what I have a problem with.

You can repeat yourself as much as you'd like, I'd still disagree with you. Should really GGG decide how people run their party groups? Should GGG really decide that if I get all the emblems and invite my friends for free, they should be able to get all the jewels? Without me, the provider/party leader, having any say in it?

I think this would generate more angry threads on the forums, than this threads, which is the only thread about the subject I've ever seen, I think.

You need new friends if they'd take loot from a map you're giving them for free
