Then you should negotiate these terms with the service provider.

The service provider will always ultimately dictate the terms of sale, but you, as the customer, have the option to negotiate. If you want the jewel(s), or access to them, then you should make this known before paying for the service.

If the provider is willing to distribute the gems there you go, otherwise perhaps you should look for someone who is willing to.

At the end of the day, if they were able to allocate 100% of the loot to themselves, I'm sure they would, because you're paying for the experience, not the loot.

As others said, you don't pay for jewels, you pay for the exp since it's by far the best way to get exp.

XP is not a finite RNG product. It's something they generate an infinite amount of consistently. What we really pay for are the emblems and 30 minutes of their time.

It's generally expected that "you pay you get loot" so yes loot is a part of it (not the main part but a part regardless). All I don't understand is why the jewels specifically should be different than any other loot.

That's entirely different. Do you charge every customer more than a set of Uber Elder Fragments costs as an entrance free? Guessing not. You need the watcher's eyes to have potential at insane profit. 5way hosts do not need the jewels.

If you cant level and get items by yourself you just improve or grind\trade and pay.

Addressed this strawman several times already

1: I have already bought both level 96-100 + the jewel my build needs this league. I'd do it again because there are no other practical options.

2: I still think changes should be made by GGG to how personal allocation works in the encounter.

These are not contradictory. It's ok to suggest changes to a product/service you'd continue to pay for even if those changes aren't implemented.

I suggest you take matters into your own hands, and host a service yourself. Your slogan could be "Jewels are included, because you deserve it".

So you are saying there is a huge investment needed to do this? Well then... that justifies the owner getting the full payment and the jewels doesn't it? THEY invested to be able to run these. THEY get the privilege to run the service however they like to. If you as "customer" wants the jewels that drop you simply should message the host and agree on a price. I am sure they will agree on a reasonable price and trade you the jewels post encounter.
