Should 5Way Hosts be Getting All Timeless Jewels?

Currently they do. It might make sense if the cost of getting into a group was 50c or something, but in a world where everyone is paying 1.5-2.5ex every 5 runs I don't see why the jewels shouldn't be random like any other loot. Thoughts?

Irrelevant what people think is correct. It is 100% up to the host how they want to run their groups.

You would just be asked to pay more then.

It's not a matter of host choice. Even with PA loot (randomly assigned to a single person until they leave map) all jewels go only to the host.

Possibly, but I think with all the competition prices would remain the same on average. They're printing currency at 2ex per person so if some start raising the price to 3ex, for example, that'd just make it easier for all the 2ex hosts (there are many in TFT and they don't always insta-fill) to build a clientele.

I cant believe someone is complaining about jewel drops. If you can afford to leech exp for few runs, surely you can afford to buy a jewel as well, which is much more important in most cases to make your build work.

It's a potentially huge source of income if you know how to price them. When the host is already making multiple exalts every few minutes I don't see why they should also get 100% of the potential from the jewels. That's all.

I can and have. Whether or not I can afford it is irrelevant to the point.

This host, who bought or farmed the emblems, likely has expensive gear, and kills everything way faster than the rest of the group who sits there afk, does deserve all of the timeless jewels.

Host your own and see how well it goes compared to theirs.

You're paying for the experience, not the jewels.

You want the jewels, buy the jewels.

Of course they do. At a minimum HH is mandatory, but just think about how much they are making for 5 seconds... even hundreds of exalts worth of gear is paid off in a matter of days then it's pure profit.

Not entirely accurate. Without a good resetter the host isn't nearly as efficient. We're talking a difference of like 2% xp at level 99 which is huge.

Moronic argument. Of course it wouldn't work because my build is not a HH speed clearer. My point was never that customers deserve a shot at jewels because they're just as capable of clearing the content as the host, but because they are already paying an absurd amount.
