So if you can't defeat the 4 end game bosses for voidstone...
Chris said that the two new bosses on an unrolled key will be less difficult than Maven so there shouldn't be too much of an issue there.

i think the new system is good (and i usually dont kill bosses... like i have done Sirus twice and Uelder once on a league)
atlas tree points for "free" and also T16's gimme that d:-D*

The problem of POE design is totall lack of control over player power.
GGG don't know how to balance game so they balance it around broken stuff. They also have policy of not "fixing" stuff mid league, which is killing the leagues fast if something broken arises (and it comes up at 50% rate mostly). This renders the build diversity to minimum and force everybody to be either super powerfull or not enjoying content progression at all. In normal game progression it should be something like: 1)Introduce weaker boss version - first boss you have to kill, relativly easy and most people should be able to finish it 2)After you kill it, you unlock new mechanic in game (like the new implict system) that allow you to rise your power level noticably. 3)You grind content till you attain most of the newly unlocked mechanic power. This should make you ready for harder content and next boss. 4)Repeat the 1-3 process making you and enemies stronger which each step, but enemies should get stronger than you, thus increasing the difficulty. POE progression system in reality: 1)Use only broken meta stuff or die - GIT GUT SCRUBS! Last edited by herflik#4390 on Jan 28, 2022, 12:58:36 PM

" Yeah this. It really isn't new, but it looks more extreme than ever. Was hoping to make my own hipster build with the changes, but if you want to actually experience content, just wait for the meta to emerge. Not new, but still lame. |

If your build can't kill uber elder then it probably doesn't have enough damage to farm juiced t16 maps consistently anyway, so why would you need whole atlas of them buffed by sextants? If you can consistently farm base t16 maps that come with 0 voidstones then you have enogh damage for uber elder. And all the whiners forgot that most of your atlas juice will be coming not from sextants, but from atlas passive tree, which OH MY GOD does not require anything except finishing these 117 maps you have from the start. Then with atlas passives you'll have enough juice to farm currency/items to upgrade your build enough so that it can kill Uber Elder, Maven etc. If you really want it you can ask someone to carry you, so that you can have whole red atlas that you can't farm, maybe there's some aesthetical beauty to it being all red? You tell me... Last edited by Nicholas_GGG#0000 on Jan 28, 2022, 2:15:24 PM

" So the discussion here is that the new system will require more boss-killing-ability to progress than before. Are you saying you think that Uber Elder, Maven are easier than the Conqs of the Atlas? If you are... well, thats insane. If you aren't, then you are agreeing. Not sure what your rant is about but just clarifying. In the system it will be hard to upgrade Atlas than currently. Do you disagree? |

" The new atlas has pre-built yellow and red maps so you're already given half of the progress you had before. You don't need to kill conquerors to get watchstones to upgrade to yellow/red maps - they will just naturally drop when you reach T5/T10 maps and this saves A LOT of time and way easier and intuitive than socketing watchstones in regions to spawn conquerors. And you repeat 100th time that content is "locked" behind voidtones, but what content? Sextants? That's like uber-endgame farmer stuff that most of players do not need or care about. If you're a player who's concerned about fully upgrading atlas to run that particular t16 Tower map with 4 elevated sextants and 4 scarabs then you're not the one who will struggle with kiling Uber Elder. And those who struggle do not need voidstones or sextants - they have way bigger problems before that. The stuff that is "gated" by voidstones is that top 1% of content which you farm after you've done everything else in the game - including killing The Maven and Pinnacle bosses. I don't understand why people cry about this 1% when most of them won't even clear the remaining 99% available from the start. Last edited by alex_disp#4958 on Jan 28, 2022, 2:59:20 PM
