I just leave this here... omniscience guess
It's gonna be some annoying temporary buff or resource we have to manage.
If there's a too small time window again and everything is rushed, I won't like it. If there's a toggle button to manage again, I'm gonna HATE it. See you in 2 weeks about this. * Edit Or 5 days, if they reveal the omniscience mechanics I guess. Last edited by OneTwoTimer#6001 on Jan 21, 2022, 3:37:23 PM Last bumped on Jan 23, 2022, 8:54:52 AM

its like devotion from timeless jewels.
you are just converting attributes into omniscience. |

How could it be a temporary buff/resource if it's used to determine gear/gem attribute requirements?

I'll just leave this here -

It's one of the more interesting items they've released in a good while, to me anyway. I'm just hoping it's a core drop and not league-locked. I've got plans for it already.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

Black Sun Crest new meta?
Black Sun Crest Briskwrap String of Servitude Alberon's 100%+ increased omniscience for 1 alch items Junk 5-20c rings with nothing but attributes (craft 3rd attribute if you want) = ~250 flat minimum Grab an Utmost on tree as you go whichever way you're going and make tree as normal = ~250 flat minimum and at least 8% more increased So from complete garbage you could get above 100% pen and 100% resist all. Zero defenses but hey can't have everything for nothing. It doesn't say it's an endgame unique so if it's a common you could make your janky leaguestart junk totem/elehit whatever build with this. I like it. |

" The problem is going to be the amulet's third mod wording. Assuming it's direct conversion, you'd be able to wear any gear at any time and the % mod would be irrelevant unless it's over 100%. That little it confuses me, unless there's some sliding value to the Omniscience you can access at a given time. Which would mean, sometimes you can't wear your gear. OR: It's a 2-3 part affix that does something like the following: All Attribute Requirements are increased by 20% Attribute Requirements become Omniscience Requirements are applied to gear at 40% of the total Omniscience. Attributes are converted to Omniscience. It seems like it'd be a smoothing mechanism with a considerable cost by increasing total requirements while allowing stat heavy builds to wear them. For example, Repentance has a very steep attribute cost, but by having a lot of Int/Dex, you could mitigate some of the STR requirement. The other option would be that like we know so far, that Omniscience is a randomly Divined number, (like 180-1800) and that it compares that to the cost of gear requirements, and that the amulet is horribly misworded, and as worded suggests you can always wear ANY gear, because being satisfied by a % of a fixed amount you have will always be met. "attribute requirements can be satisfied by 23% of omniscience"
ITEM requires 100 dex. IF 23% of current omniscience is >= 100, requirement satisfied. else, cannot wear. |

" If that's true, Repentence would take ..... 5218 Omniscience. That seems arbitratily weird and high, considering the first mod voids all attribute enhancements, including +10 nodes from the tree. +10 nodes wouldn't push Ominiscience up at all, but are required to tree, while % mods like 8% Int Belts would result in MASSIVE changes to Omniscience. It's almost like you're suggesting it's an Int Stacker Doryani item with % Int on everything, to replace all the -Lightning Res we're going to lose from Scourge not going core (without needing to lower your own lightning res, because this is Penetration, not reduction). Also, if that were the case, the wording should be: 23% of Omniscience can satisfy Attribute Requirements. Inversed it means that Attribute modifiers reflect 23% of Omniscience. |
