Lol dude, lots to unpack there. What places do you frequent that you've got these weird ideas? The fringe parts of reddit can melt your brain. Legit concerning, since stuff like looking at demographic statistics and using them as justification for assumptions about members of that demographic (like "what women want") is the basis of all sorts of prejudice.

i dont use reddit, only 4chan. but i didnt learn that stuff on 4chan, i had a year of psychology and anthropology each at university. you may call in prejudice, but know that generalization and prejudice are just empirical statistics!

Sorry, I had a year of psychology and a year of anthropology in college. That is far from any claim to credentials on the subject only just barely enough to make some believe they know more about how others think than they really do. As a matter of fact I'm fairly certain that anyone with credentials in psychology would say that they would need to do a study to know what the population would likely think on this. (A PhD in anthropology would be pretty irrelevant on the issue.)

credentials dont matter if you are interested in the subject, and those 2 years were enough to get me interested. tesla was a college dropout, newton was a freak who wanted to burn his own mother. so as long as what you say is true and common knowledge in the subject, you shouldnt care about credentials or need studies. and since you also had the same courses i did and this is considered basic knowledge, you should know that what i said was the truth. a doctor doesnt need a study to say that smoking causes cancer, and telling him "wheres your study" doesnt make it any less true

edit: also i literally proposed to do a study right here. and i need a statistics degree for it as much as you need a math degree to count the change in a coffee shop

ive made tons of hideouts. i did it because i like my hideout to look nice, i dont upload them for others to download because i didnt make it for an ego boost or for anyone else to look at it, its for me to have a nice surrounding to play in. i dont care at all if anyone who comes to my hideout copies it. so this idea that it boils down to people who make hideouts for an ego boost and people who think its stealing just isnt the case, thats just your weird take and your inability to see that the way you look at the world not only isnt universal but is unusual.

I would say that this 100% exactly lines up with my feelings as well. But enough about Hideouts. Let's talk about the one good point OP has made, even if he made it by accident. Let's talk about the PoE forums, trolls, and new accounts.

The fact that I regularly have posts removed for the cardinal sins of calling out logical fallacies and demonstrably untrue claims (I was once put on probation for doing this with a Gordon Ramsay meme, which genuinely made me laugh when it happened because it's just so pathetic to think of anyone actually being offended by it), whereas OP has seemingly been allowed to continue making sexist and transphobic trollposts on a new account created specifically to circumvent forum probation, really doesn't speak very well of GGG's Forum Police. And I say seemingly because I am merely expressing an opinion of what the situation subjectively looks like from my perspective, which means I am not actually accusing anyone of anything and as such I am, technically, remaining in compliance with the Forum Terms of Service.

Anyway, I didn't think OP would be able to convince me of anything, but I was wrong: I am now 100% convinced that only accounts which have beat Act 5 should be allowed to post in the forums. That way if someone wants to make a new account just to troll, they at least have to put a couple hours of effort into it.
