streamers drop rate easy life easy gameplay
" Blizz and Diablo are bad examples because they dont have a F2P monetization strategy. They want to sell copies as fast as possible, and as much as possible. GGG needs people to keep coming back, and play as long as they can get us to hope we drop cash in MTX and Stash tabs. There is real reveune incentive to make the gameplay loop as appealing as possible. I know you are too smart not to understand this. I dont know what you are basing your absolute faith on, other than general feels about GGG. What makes you so certain they haven't or wouldnt do this as part of marketing? Fear of optics? Fuck me look at what they have already done. Glossing over doesnt even begin to describe it. So sure, agree to disagree, but man to me it seems super naive. Edit: I think "absolute faith" is probably hyperbole after re-reading, but the premise is the same. I dont give them the benefit of the doubt, and you do, regardless of the ethical examples I provided (which was a small sample). Meh. " See, exactly like GGG does things :)... They could explain anything as long as they can find niche arguments after someone brought arguments to it. (Like people said that NASA thought of everything when they brought that pole to the moon to prove that they didn't make a mistake faking it, still not the point of the thread) I don't need to learn anything, and you are too opinionate to see logic in anything someone else says around this thread... Just wanted to point that out. I don't really care if there is streamer RNG or not, as long as they confirmed that they tempered with some lot tables , proving they can and they will do it for whatever logic they find fit. In this case impartiality has left the room./ It doesn't even care if they give reasons from beyond the grave like Chris Wilson crying about the mistake he made in Ultimatum for tempering with the queues, it's just that they cannot be trusted being partially ... There could be or could be not streamer rng, at this point it doesn't even matter since, GGG keeps on tempering with different things taking part to some people. Might not be long until streamers start with full end game gear just for marketing purpose. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party. " lol. It might explain why sometimes it feels the longer I play, the less stuff I get. If they have a system that automatically do that when it detects botting, maybe I just trigger it when I spend days farming the same shit over and over to get something added to I don't chat in game, no guild, whatsoever. Yeah, no, I've never ran into a "no currency drop". I have sleep issues and sometimes/often play from evening to early mornings straight. When I say feel, it's more like the longer I play, I get more crappy stuff and less to no good items, and it feels less rewarding.

well, if streamers have their own top priority streamer queue when league starts, its clear that developers know all their accounts, i see no technical difficulties to increase drop rate for them to be honest
i couldnt believe in it before 3.14, but after streamer queue i can believe in anything dead game
bring back 3.13 |

" I see logic in some opinions here, I just disagree with them. But a man who thinks the moon landing is a hoax, has probably bigger issues than me seeing logic, because all claims have been - logically - debunked :) " It's not faith in GGG per se. I think it's more faith in humanity (players), and the backlash that would happen if something like "streamer RNG" became public. And it's also faith in humanity when it comes to the 150 employees not keeping their mouth shut it it was a thing. And as I've written before; it only takes one anonymous employee with a sense of morals. It's not just that I see "streamer RNG" as 420 times worse than anything they've ever done before, but I also think a legal case could be made in form of false advertisement, as they have been paying streamers to promote their game. So it's not just immoral, I would assume it's illegal too. Of course, first- and second hand experience also comes into play here. I have been playing for a long time, and it's pretty clear (of course) that the better I become at the game, and the more efficient I play, the time between each "personal streamer RNG moment" is vastly reduced. I'm also a leader of a fairly large guild, playing with other players much better and more efficient than me, that do not stream... The whole thing just doesn't add up in my head, logically and mathematically. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile. Last edited by Phrazz#3529 on Nov 30, 2021, 2:41:48 PM

" To clarify, giving streamers increased drop rates on their mystery box would actually be illegal. (Which is why the law forced them to disclose drop rates) As far as in-game currency, gear drops, weighted crafting results, etc... GGG can do whatever they want. (Legally) Also there would only be a handful of Senior Devs that would be aware of it(offically), and likely it would fall under a NDA, or minimum non-compete clause in their contract. As far as faith in humanity, I personally think having stock/ownership in the game, and then selling currency from said game for real money via a RMT website is about as loathsome as it gets. Hell GGG didn't even think having a dedicated streamer server was an issue until the community turned on them. I think you are giving them way too much credit here... " You're probably right. I just feel that "streamer RNG" would be a dick move. Paying a streamer, with streamer RNG, to advertise a faulty version of the game, would be a dick move². But as you say, it's probably legal. But still, it's not based on giving them credit as much as it's based on the numbers not adding up in my head. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
