streamers drop rate easy life easy gameplay
Well, can't be sure whether streamer rng exist, but i have a different question: Should it exist?
What would qualify one to get streamer rng? Surely, not just streaming 1-2h for a week and averaging 5 viewers. No, to get the stuff you would have to be a successful streamer on your own, with shitty regular rng, first. By your luck, personal charisma and skill in the game you would have to have made yourself popular enough to be judged valuable to GGG. So regardless of GGGs motives of enabling your super streamer juice, morally speaking, you would have earned it. On another point - even if there was public outrage and GGG was exposed to tweak streamer rng, how do you imagine the problem would be solved? Not by raising *your* average Joe Shmuck rng to streamer levels, thats for sure. No, they would just drag some few people into the shit sea most of us are swimming in. The whole discussion misses the point which is that its not FUN for many people to play long enough and efficiently enough and with suitable builds to make progress in the late game. And if the game were to be made fun for those people, it would not be fun for the other group, which gets their jollies from feeling superior for being able to overcome the current challenging (tedious, grindy, soulcrushing, boring, infuriating) state of the game. Even if a new easier game mode would be added, the latter group would still loudly protest, because they know they would lose the many, many bottom feeders of poe's current economy when they mass migrate to it. And it is those many poor people that allow the successful to sell their failed crafting attempts and to buy bases and consumables for cheap. Last edited by teodar1987#6707 on Mar 3, 2022, 4:48:22 AM

" Never had any issues with RNG in the grand scheme of things. Never streamed in my life, and never felt like I swim in a "shite sea". Who is this "most of us" you're talking about? Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

"did it ever cross your mind that maybe there is a group of players who enjoys the grind, and that they may be the target audience of a game made by grinding gear games? And maybe its not at all about feeling superior to anyone else? Its very simple, you either learn how to progress in the game, or become at peace with your current level. And if its not fun, you move on Imo the game is in the best state its been for years right now, and its easier than ever for players to accumulate wealth |

Compared to a speculated streamer rng raining mirrors and magebloods as described by op the ordinary rng IS a shit sea of id scrolls and transmutations. In the same way a millionaire is a malnourished pauper when compared to a billionaire - its an analogy and its imperfect, but it gets the point across.
The "us" would be the people who find poe's normal rng less than generous. Do you personally believe most people are satisfied by poe's current efford/reward ratio? As for people enjoying the grind, did you read my post at all? Did I not say there was such a group? Is your patronizing tone not superior enough to prove me right? Did you just not brag that its easier than ever for YOU to make wealth?(or are you speaking for other people, just as you seem to accuse me of?!) Did you not imply people should just get gud or gtfo of this here grindy game for grinders by brinding gear games?! For the cherry on top, i admit i made an assumption that you and people of similar disposition would be opposed to an "easy" game mode, but am I actually wrong? There are groups of opposing interests in poe. There is little way to prove who is in the majority. I'd argue that if we look at the percentage of successful people vs average or below irl and the percentage of masochists and obsessives in the total population we'd have enough to go on, but hey thats just me. Maybe poe is especially attractive for those groups and they are the ones that make up most of the players. Last edited by teodar1987#6707 on Mar 3, 2022, 6:40:02 AM

"but you know there are no raining mirrors and magebloods for anyone. fact is practically none of the really filthy rich players stream at all. the top is all populated by mostly unnoticed grinders and economy players. you can just surf poe.ninja and check out some random builds and you see countless of players with insane gear (inb4 they all rmt). the average rng is not just a sea of transmutes and id scrolls. given you play smartly and know how to utilize the economy your mapping easily yields multiple ex an hour in the current expansion, without much micromanagement at all. its all about knowledge, efficiency and putting in the hours. if you put none of those to use you are obviously gonna see returns multiple orders of magnitude lower. as for if most people are satisfied with the rewards they get? who knows, you only ever see a few complaining voices among the thousands of players who just play the game Last edited by jewdas12#5648 on Mar 3, 2022, 6:35:58 AM

" 1) All i said on the streamer matter is that I personally see nothing wrong with a company rewarding those who bring value to it with whatever they choose. That is a personal opinion and i have no beef with people who believe the opposite. 2) It does bring multiple ex per hour. If you sell most stuff and not count the time it takes. In standard my current toon with ice spear totems took upwards of 500ex to do but 20 ish mill in damage, flasks off. With recent nerfs to defense, it is quite fragile. I find the time and effort to finish that toon compared to the fact that it still cant run uber simul or legion to be unsatisfying. Not fun enough. That is me and i argue a lot of other people. Again, I cant prove we are the majority but i believe we must be. 3) You are on to something here - whether praising or complaining just a few people do most of the posting on these forums. I dont do reddid so i don't know how it is over there and i don't do discords but to buy crafts on tft. On yet another note I and I assume(this is just a guess) a lot of those who complain dont sell services or crafts or goods in bulk on tft which sure as hell eats a lot of profit. |

" it doesnt really take much time to sell at all. you already mentioned tft bulk etc, where you can unload guardian map drops from 500 maps in a few whispers and what not. as for other individual valuables you just put em up for sale and do the trades inbetween maps. and selling EVERYTHING valuable is the key here. a lot of newbies think you farm for raw exalts and if they cant find them they are locked out from progression. truth is valuable stuff drops all the time, but you need knowledge to know what is potentially valuable to someone else |

Week 4 now, level 99 and got 57 exalted orbs drop. People that believe in streamer rng are clowns

"are those raw ex drops? what are you farming to generate so many |

Vegeta1991 rng confirmed. Blessed by GGG. Must burn at stake. Or canonize. Or both, Joanne of Arc style.
