Everything that needed to be said was said here. How can this trollthread go on for another 15 pages?

Just the human nature of having someone/something to blame. It can't possibly be themselves. It can't possibly be their playtime. It can't possibly be their knowledge. It can't possibly be their efficiency. It can't possible be their build. It can't possibly be a false impression from highlights. Only solution? GGG and streamer RNG, because they've fucked up with streamer priority before.

As I've said before; believing that streamer RNG can exist, is one thing. Being convinced it does exist, based on the evidence at hand, is a completely different matter.

I think the fact we default to this logic just suggests you and I are getting old.

Most people blame others when they are 16-25.

I think everyone needs to tail a player who 30 sec clears a map2-3 times a league and see how their XP/Drops change. I recently did that for about 40 min and got 8 watchstones, 4 ex, and 3 high end uniques. It just blew my mind how fast a perfect Doryani can kill Guardian maps.

Thanks, dude. Appreciate it.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
it all depends on person luck this is my 1st league.
will use the endless events as example i did not have one tabula rasa drop on any of my guys thast got to lvl 90+ but chat every ones talking about how easy they come i said wow i have not even gotten 1 and a player gave me one of the 20 he got this did not mean ggg messed with my drop rates i just had crap luck, i dont farm maps im still testing out builds to pick a unit for next league max to minmax. but on my main if i need an awakened i go farm a boss say ima get the one i need and it drops. me playing maps im getting chaos drops if i say i need 20 ex i will get the 20 ex with in 30-40 maps of me saying this. yes it sucks you dont get the huge price drops worth 100ex or a mirror but even with my limited understanding of the game and not knowing how to juice maps or set up my atlas correct im still making bank. ya i cant buy the stuff to kill a boss in one shot but i can farm most content a few i cant do as im still trying to get my main set im still tinkering.

i dont think streamers get much more a boost then log in and the stuff we know of but my noob self has had moments that would make youtube highlights its just i dont stream i play for fun im not a super good player but if you understand this kind of game you see the drops are all depending on the player i have 350+ hours in game in one league so i think i have a good bit of time finding drops

I love reading threads like that. So much salt from ppl who barely play the game that compare themselves to people who play 16h/day.
"I play the game too and I dont have things they do!"
Lovely.

Nothing wrong with that. I'd rather be viewed as someone who makes better choices (even if I don't) through the lens of the world than be perpetually seen as someone whose barely lived.

My Mother died Dec 22.
My Uncle died Nov 22.
My Niece's twin boy delivered 11 weeks early to a Monoamniotic Monochrionic pregnancy. died 11 days after he was delivered 6 days ago.

Personally, I think growing and experiencing life is more of a compliment more and more, as you begin to face the harsh realities of what really exists.

I'd love to live forever too. But, at 37, I only have 2 people more elderly than me in my 2-3 stem family, and just a 6 years ago there were over 20. It's amazing how sobering that is. I wish people younger than us would realize that as well..... before they get to our point.

THAT would be a kindness. Blame is just wasting time.
i was lookin at a streamer double corrupting stuff, aka mbxtreme, i honestly couldn't believe his luck.

when i double corrupt stuff (ive done 100-200 this league) most fail. i haven't had a single good hit.

dont forget, once there was streamer privilege back in ultimatum i think so if they have buffed luck now to their account i wouldn't be surprised at all.

I'm not a streamer but this just happened to me

I did some logbooks, had 100 astragalis and about 1100 of the greater artifacts needed for belts left (been doing it all league trying to get one)

its a real shame, all the fancy gear is obtained from completely sheer rng than skill these days.

back in the day we'd target hh farming with difficult and very costly setup.

i guess skill, setup and knowledge isn't really rewarded anymore. just go get lucky and gamble or wait for random rng drop.... sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo and suchhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh rewarding ways............

I do feel "Streamer RNG" exists in the code, but only a tiny amount.
i.e. if a Streamer and a normal player play the exact same map 1000 times - the Streamer has 0.1% more chance to drop that <insert insane T1 Unique or all-T1-modded Rare>.

It's an undetectable amount, and it's good business and good publicity.
especially when the Streamer does actually play the map 1000 times while the normal player won't necessarily.

And yes it can reach obnoxious levels when some Streamers like Empy's team figured out the system and are dropping Mirrors and mirror-worthy stuff left and right. but that's just the nature of it. some people know how to split tasks and target-farm better than others.

Would it be a "PR disaster" if GGG get caught doing it? Yes.
Will they actually get caught? No. because even IF the game's code was Open Source, finding that one piece of bias code is literally a needle in a haystack.
And it's the complete opposite of Open Source.
Alva: I'm sweating like a hog in heat
Shadow: That was fun
I think Streamers should be given an advantage over plebs, they do give GGG free publicity after all.
