Income/luck in PoE, is exponential based on the power of your build. Once you have a build that can breeze through 250+ stacks of scourge or a T16 Nemesis sextant juiced map with several sources of beyond, lucky moments will happen more often.

I just cannot understand how people are unable to understand this.

Its easier to blame an outside source for problems than admiting that changing yourself would fix the issue.

Researching and setting up any really good farming strat that "pulls the leaver of the slot machine faster" is way more time demanding and take a lot more effort than going to the forum and blaming GGG.

Just the human nature of having someone/something to blame. It can't possibly be themselves. It can't possibly be their playtime. It can't possibly be their knowledge. It can't possibly be their efficiency. It can't possible be their build. It can't possibly be a false impression from highlights. Only solution? GGG and streamer RNG, because they've fucked up with streamer priority before.

As I've said before; believing that streamer RNG can exist, is one thing. Being convinced it does exist, based on the evidence at hand, is a completely different matter.

I don't think you can discount the impact on GGG's reputation over past and present transgressions. They don't get the "aww shucks" they are just a small indie group benefit of the doubt and support. Part of it is growing pains into a larger developer.

Point is that, and I'm not going to re-hash all the HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE shit that has gone down, many players are giving the side-eye to GGG intentions and development strategy.

I mean if you are a console player for example, how do you think you would feel about recent events. Like you said we are humans. Emotions are part of who we are. Fact of the matter is that community divide is bigger than ever, retention rates (by percentage), are the lowest in their history, and while we won't know their fiscal reporting for 2021 until March, I think there is a good chance that for the first time ever since release their revenue has dipped year over year, and dipped significantly.

GGG's monetization strategy being F2P requires goodwill and belief. If they don't have that, it's a big problem. I think they have work to do to regain the trust of players again, enough that they are willing to spend money to support the game. I won't be doing so any longer, but perhaps they can convince others.

I got 2 exalt drops in same map like 4 times this league, once without the nemesis mode sextant. RNG for raw currency is really good this league.

The thing with this thread is that everyone complaining here has shit drops.

Everyone that has good drops doesnt complain so they are not visible, that creates an enviroment where all the people complaining support each others world view that the system is rigged.

Lets just assume its not their farming method or whatever. Lets just focus on the drops alone.

One guy finding 10 mirrors and another one not a single EX in the league is not outside of what can happen if drops are 100% random.

People assume here that one guy finding a lot and another guy finding nothing proofs that the system is rigged. If you delve a bit into probability calculation you will find out that this isnt uncommon, its actually the expected outcome.

Only if you would have complete access to the drop statistics of at least 10% of the whole player base you could make any real guess about how drops function.

I mean go to reddit ect. and count how many none streamers posted they found a mageblood or mirror. Its more than all the popular streamers combined. That anecdote says as much about the system as some streamer finding a mageblood in heist... absolutly nothing.

RNG is everywhere and nowhere, thats the definition of RNG.

However, you can raise those odds by multiple factors.
Some POE only streamers like Empyrian play POE like 10 hours+/day and that in an efficient engame way. They max out all odds for their particular playstyle.
And one of the most efficient factors would be "groupplay" for Quant and Qual.

If you run 100 maps/day solo with goods mods, scarabs and so on and get 3 ex drops out of those, i can GUARANTEE you, that they will have at least 10 times more. And that are only ex drops, not talking about potential div. cards or other drops u can flip to currency, talking about flipping currency.

Becoming rich isnt "farming maps" until u fall asleep, its knowing the demand on items and farming/Crafting and then selling those in a way that benefits you financially <----- and THAT is something not even most of ppl who play this game since beta become to understand.

and NO guy finds 10 mirrors just like that, dropping i mean. Sure in theory it is possible and easier with maxed out factors, but in reality even with maxed stuff, group play and so on, the chance of finding a mirror is still 0,00% per map.

you really shouldn't forget that it's the same as with social media. you most likely only see that someone is on vacation, has bought a new car/house, got the job.

Like already a lot of people here wrote, streamers play a lot more than a flulltime job 16h+ a day, and some of then in well optimized groups.

what would be the point of giving streamers a better drop? i mean really? do you really think that GGG would say "ahh giving Streamers a better RNG is a good way to push nonstreamer playtime?" lol?

I've caught myself gambling unsuccessfully and then didn't feel like it anymore and ended the league and I think I'm not alone with that. For me personally it would not make any sense to give streamer better rng, absolutely no sense!
