" Don't assume stuff. I think something happened somehow when they implemented the stacked currency algorithm...I still think that somehow they diluted or screwed other currency. " what? the clips do prove they can interfere in clients individually. If they buff drop rates or not ofcorse they will never say. THEY CAN if they WANT though. Same thing even chriss said that they adjust currency drops midleague if they find something is dropping more or less that they want. |

" Interfere with clients? Hows that even supposed to work? This is whitelisting accounts to bypass the queue. A boxstandard feature to allow staff to access the servers and do whatever they need to do without having to wait. All GGG did was adding non-staff accounts to this already existing list. This isnt some sort of conspiracy and they sure as hell didnt manipulate clients. You are free to feel about this however you wish, just stop pretending you knew what was happening when you clearly have no idea how this stuff works. Ex: flag x,y,z clients as "staff accounts/clients" that have diferent weights in droprates. Like they do in testing enviroment when they want to test something. Adding buffs/nerfs account wide is not a hard thing to do btw. If they do or not we can't possibly know though. Not without all the data. But is naive to think "they will never do this" same way is naive to think companies don't do shady stuff for profit. Btw how the hell ggg have so many good lawyers for god sake. My lawyer don't do anything without being paid (a lot btw) lol. Its incredible how people defend multi million companies for free. Do u want to be my lawyer? Funny how NOT A SINGLE Defender of the Weak that aparently loves the game so much can create positive threads and discuss good things about their precious game. They don't, they only feel obligde to come to critics posts or people that are frustrated and bash and defend to the death. We all know they CAN make individual exceptions, whitelisting and so-called "streamer RNG". It's just code. It's more than possible, and would probably never be exposed. But the question here isn't "can they?".
The question here is "what makes you CONVINCED that they ARE doing it?" " FFS... We're debating a specific mechanic in the game, and lots of people are disagreeing with each other. It's called a "discussion", which tens to happen on a forum called "General Discussion". It's not about "defending" GGG. Hell, I've called them immoral. I've said they've fucked up more times that I can count - in this very thread. Do YOU actually feel like you're attacking GGG when you criticize/discuss parts of the game you don't like? Well, you're not - you're doing what you're supposed to do as a consumer. So no one has to defend them. But people are more than allowed to disagree with you, without "defending" GGG. " Im not a lawyer and Im not defending GGG. There is a lot of stuff to complain about for sure. I just dont do it here or elsewhere on social media because I dont want to fuel the flames. I know how shitty it feels if you work hard on a game, release it and all you get is pure unmitigated hatred - often based on nothing but conspiracy theories. It sucks. It really does. And its not helping. Its not going to change anything. It just makes you look bad. Thats all. GGG screwed up many times without a doubt but they still do deliver a game Im enjoying. Thats all that matters to me and I do prefer to act in good faith. Which means I will not assume malice when bad luck or fuck ups explains whatever happened as well. We are all humans, we all screw up on a daily basis, so I dont see why I would talk trash about anyone when Im guilty of the exact same thing. If anything happens thats stopping me from being able to act in good faith I will simply leave. I dont understand people coming up and clinging to obvious BS just to paint whatever happened in darkest colors they possibly can, so they can claim victim status and feel better about themselves. Thats when I feel the urge to speak up and provide a different perspective, knowing full well it doesnt change anything. |

" Most people in my guild, at least the more active ones have a net worth of at least 100ex. Not a single one of them streams. Some ways you get rich super fast right now: Chain running nem3 maps. Currency flipping. Rolling unique watchstones and sell them. Running tons of maps just for beasts. Selling harvest crafts on discord. Running tons of simulacrums. Doing tons of gem heists. Thats just the first things I can think of. Everyone can farm a HH in a week, only thing needed is game knowledge. This whole thread and other similar threads are basicaly just a bunch of people complaining about their lack of game knowledge without realising it. |

" And this is what it all boils down to. Your IMPRESSION of a streamer's drops. I've made more than 100ex this league. Quite a bit more, actually. And I play maybe 2-3 hours a day on average. I've tried corrupting ONE Enlighten gem to level 4, and got it. I've tried corrupting ONE Anomalous Lightning Strike to make it a vaal one, and I got it. I've dropped 2 Brother's Stash. Now, a streamer plays maybe 3-5 times more than me. So just based on that, he will "earn" 3-5 times as much as me. He also probably plays 3 times more efficient thane me, making it more like 9-15 more earnings than me. On top of that, he has more game knowledge than me - and better strategies. OF COURSE There will be more "lucky moments". OF COURSE some people will assume the drop rates are higher. Hell, some people in this thread have already said they are basing this on youtube highlights, where you get to see a few astragalis used to make a HH or a MB. But can you confirm you've seen ALL of his streams, to see how many astragalis he's used in total? "We can see what drops for them"... Sure you can, but put it in some perspective. If you're going to "prove" streamer RNG, you have to take your assumptions and impression out of the equation. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
