Oh that's just BS. It's not a strawman, anyone can see your quote. You realized this and latched on to "just" in my retort. It disingenuous, and you just doubled down on your player envy argument.

Bullshit. I stand by my quote; envy has a lot to do with it. And your use of "just" changed the whole sentence. Because it isn't just about envy, and I never claimed that. At all. You did. I was talking about "people". Not all people. Not "just" envy. Shouldn't be hard to understand.

And regarding 300 exalts... Did anyone talk about pure exalt drops? It's like you're trying to twist everything into " specific absolutes" that no one is claiming - to fit your narrative.
Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

And that's the bottom line. I'm not even in remote agreement here. I suppose we leave it at that.

They play 10 times as much as you. They play 10 times as efficient as you. They have 10 times your game knowledge. And their "lucky moments" are of course clipped and goes viral, so people get the impression that it "happens all the time". Hell, very smart people in this very thread admits he's using "youtube highlights" as a source.

Income/luck in PoE, is exponential based on the power of your build. Once you have a build that can breeze through 250+ stacks of scourge or a T16 Nemesis sextant juiced map with several sources of beyond, lucky moments will happen more often.

I just cannot understand how people are unable to understand this.

+1 This ^^
No one posting here actually knows.

They have shown they can isolate streamer accounts and change their privileges.

So it is not impossible, and they have changed those before and justified it by saying that it would make things more interesting for viewers who were waiting in line. Not a great leap to say interesting drops make for good viewing either.

But streamers having good items also does not prove it due to their time and experience playing.

The only way to show a bias would be to combine 10,000s of hours of streamer drops compared to non-streamer under the same case.

THe major problem about streamers are not the streamers but the followers...

Streamers influence people, and this bring a lot of problems like meta builds, ultra eficiency, exploit of mechs, and the worst devs do balance stuff around when there is popular clips flying around showing "immortal" builds etc. For exemple I bet my ass they will nerf mageblood/squire as it made the game too easy and everybody is using it (although only a few people is) cause every single streamer atm is using the damn belt. This happened a lot in the past, same thing about harvest where they said "everybody is getting mirror items" blablabla.

So in the end dosen't matter if streamers have better rng or not, what matters is their influence in the game on players and devs.

THye fixed the delve town damage after lily got killed although hundreds of players did experimented this before her and nothing got fixed. SO for sure devs watch clips and use this "metric" to help them do balance...

Lol just recently they were publically shamed into patching Scourge Krangle mods because Reddit was full of ridiculous meme items.

In general it's always the privileged few screaming about this or that being "broken". Its eye-rollingly sad.

Like you mentioned in Harvest, the claims that everyone have mirror tier gear with an item editor, or now with Mageblood breaking the game(for at most a couple hundred players), or people just adding squire links to every reddit showcase item. "Omg OP 12-Link wand".

What a parody game balance has become.

Standard has a lower drop rate than leagues. It's obvious and normal since leagues start with a null economy and only last 3 months. What's a pity is that Standard is probably balanced down even more because of the items coming from leagues when a league ends.

Why did so many people fall for this as a valid discussion? OP doesn’t even play the game.
