Wow rip gladiator

Gladiator may survive because everything else got hit more.

People have not yet started doing the math to see how big some of these are.

If you were a spellcaster using blind and fortify, and a mob attacked 10 times for 100 damage each, it would miss 5 times, and 5 times hit for 80.

So 400 damage.

Now, no blind, no fortify, it will hit 10 times for full 100 damage or 1000 total.

So basically, 2.5 times the previous damage taken.

Gladiator only had defenses cut by 33% in comparison (75% block and spell block down to 50%).



Not saying game is unplayable, maybe spellcasters need to start stacking armor or evasion in fairly serious quantities, undoubtedly there will be strong builds (like FR totems or shield anything in otherwise weak 3.15).

Let's wait for part 3 and the patch notes before we panic.

I think that's a pretty big misrepresentation of part 2.

There are quite a few significant nerfs, not just the apparent nuke of most Glad's. Which already got smashed in the face previously regarding bleed. If that was my main, I'd have PTSD over the past few leagues.

Also I'm not quite sure how folks are supposed to provide feedback generally speaking with some of these changes, that apparently will have replacements, but no idea what that might be?

Dodge, Fortify, Gladiator, End Charge, Blind. Just to be fair, a lot more than one.

You are 100% right though, the def buffs could outweigh these vastly, and the game be much easier with fewer one shots. Literally no one outside GGG knows and honestly they dont always know till people play it.

Well we saw what happened in this league, needless to say caution should be exercised.

Without full numbers and pobing it is hard to say. But it sure as frak was not all buffs. The nerfs were quite strong and in a lot of cases it is at very least questionable if one outweights the other.

Vs attacks gladiator will probably be fine.
but vs spells they are as dead as a rotten corpse based off this manifesto.
