Read page 5 in this very thread to see the OP's pleasant message. Got exactly what he deserved imo.

Lol exactly! I didn't bother continuing reading this thread and I should. That is exactly what I said about this. OP didn't get banned for saying "get lost", give me a break with that lol. Some of us know better.

Let it be a lesson that you can't act like that without repercussions.

I still don't care, but the drama of this is fun while I'm at work.
Reading page 5 and 6 now brings me to another even more relevant analogy:

Saturday night I went out to dinner, just the two of us. Nothing fancy just dinner at a nice local Italian place.

Waiter brings the bill. It's $144. It should have been about $40.

I politely pointed out the error, he politely apologized and in few minutes I was refunded the excess amount and all was well.

"politely" people!

Can you imagine if the waiter and restaurant instead said "nah get lost" and then told me to "f*** off, you and your date"??

Granted in my case there was irrefutable proof I was overcharged where I don't think there was in OP's case, but he acted like a total dick and got what was coming. If the restaurant acted like a total dick I'd have legal cause, but instead both parties were polite and the issue was resolved. This is a lesson a lot of gamers need to learn.

"banned for no reason" gotta love that statement.

A friend of a mod tried to scam the OP, the OP said to get lost, and that got him banned.

TFT sounds like a horrible and toxic discord. GGG really needs to get their stuff together so that they don't force their community to rely on such toxicity.

Wrong OP even told guy learn to check what you buy. Clearly OP got excess amount of currency and kept it. Even if it the trade wasnt done through TFT, I imagine TFT still doesn't want that type of player around.

This.

People above this post thinking that he should be subservient to mods to keep his account, even as they are pressuring him to refund a non-fraudulent trade simply because the previous player wanted it.

If what he wrote is true, he did nothing wrong. He traded something for what its listed and at a reasonable price and only because the other guy decited afterwards its too expensive for him he started being rude and called him a scammer.

If by "building your reputation as someone of integrity and trust" you mean giving in to some power tripping internet bullies then well, go ahead and suck up to TFT mods.
As far as I can tell, you deal with mods only when someone complains about your actions.

When you buy something from a store, and go back 5 minutes later to return the product, usually you get your money back, right?

wow , you can refund your new cellphone after you unseal the box and leave the store ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿

I giggle at the very implication that TFT is anything like a legitimate, licensed and regulated business. TFT is basically a group of strangers in a dark back-alley selling wristwatches out of a trench coat. That they would have some sort of return policy is laughable.

In this particular case, it's like when you return it sealed, few minutes later.
Trade is MUST AGREE by both party , if you already AGREED trade , it seal , end . It not a scam if both party get what they want to trade. Refund only happend IF both party agreed, not 1 site force the refund on other . Force trade is Scam and Abuse.
Image that you traded your Chaos for Exal then you used all your Exal to buy gear and then the guy want to give back Chaos to refund Exal because he found a better deal .

For me , biggest fail is GGG with this shit trade system and their "vision"
