Banned on tft - for no reason a whole section of trade no more accessable

Its a bad analogy but oh well. Do you think you'd get a refund if you went to a store to buy something for a reasonable price, then came back 5 minutes later saying you think it was too expensive and demand a refund while calling them scammers ?

I doubt it, they'd ask you to leave

If you go back to the store and ask for a refund and they instead start cursing at you and refusing your refund, what are you gonna do? You might call them scammers or cheats or something. You might even go Karen on them and talk to the manager.

I'm telling you right now there's NO way all that was said was "get lost". We are only getting one side of the story here. One person is saying he was being called a scammer by someone demanding a refund and told him to get lost, but I can bet the other person would say he asked for a refund right away but was told something like "no, get lost noob your fault for paying too much"

Two sides to every issue like this and we can't jump to conclusions when we are only getting one side.

Btw, I know nothing about TFT. I don't know the mods or anything about how that discord group operates. I just know the problem would have been averted had he given the refund like a decent person would.
And yet Chris balances things like Harvest against TFT.

Disgusting.
Just another reason to delete or rework Harvest.
TFT does not define POE...it's like being banned on d2jsp. You can still play the game...

The only thing that TFT does is provide a platform for trading that can be very well applied in the main game...

If you resume it to that point that ban doesn't seem like a problem.

Its weird, there are three posters with exactly 4 challenges complete that all spread weird or nonsensical advice.

Imaginereum - Just make a new discord, like that will put you in touch with the players on TFT that is the very reason to go there....

Other random person - Its probably OPs fault and he said some crazy stuff! Blame him! With no proof.

Vendetta - You can still play! I mean you can play without PoB, or PoEPlanner, or any third party tools. However, poe is balanced around both TFT (per Chris manifesto) and very obviously PoB (per nerf announcement).

Regardless, it is pretty insane to balance content around a third party site that is controlled by random people who have nothing to do with PoE.
Taking the original narrative at face value, can we consider for a moment the possibility that the purchaser might have considering asking politely for a refund, considering they apparently made the original error?

Manners?? C'mon man.
~ Please separate the PoE1 and PoE2 forums.
Oh right, sorry, I forgot ... this is the internet.
If you guys are on TFT, you can see the buyer's scam report. The basic gist is:

- Buyer whispers trade message to OP, 150c for 5 frags. But OP is busy, whispers "after heist".
- Buyer whispers a different person, 225c for 9 frags.
- OP and buyer complete trade.
- Buyer says "my bad", "i confused you with another", "please return the excess"
- OP says "learn to check what you buy", "get lost"

And then some back and forth name calling and BS between the two.

So what it looks like is buyer put up 225c, did the dumb thing of not even counting the frags, accepts the trade, then asks for the "excess" back, not a refund.

Is this a scam? Up to you. But I want to make it clear, even if it is a scam, there is absolutely no evidence of a bad trade. There are only screens of the chat, no screens of the trade. Banning someone based on circumstantial evidence is bad form and I believe the ban was unjustified.

Personally, I would have either canceled the trade or gave the money back. But now you're banned from TFT, and for what? This whole thing could have been avoided.
Being salty about few chaos orbs at end of dead league was not good decision. I'd be much nicer, and maybe do undeserving refund.
But I ofcourse do not want to blame victim here, but you need to understand that mods mostly are power hungry far < leaning people salivating over the idea that they will have at least the smallest power-trip over someone else online. Beucase IRL their soyface does not offer such chances.
Money and power corrupts, but when it comes to mods they are corrupted before even taking the position, seeking it in first place just for these dopamine power-trips.
They are the ultimate oxymoron, authoritarians that will sing you about how they hate authoritarianism.

But I'm not really talking about this mod(whoever it was) just mods in general.
You need to be ideolog to be so obsessed with policing speech that you'll even do it for free and with smile on your face.

I've been admin of big discord server and quit it because i've seen mods/fellow admin abuse their standing all the time and could not associate myself with that anymore.(I miss it because there were some people i liked)

Fellow mods would literally ping people and dare them to break rules so they can ban someone. "user#xxx Say n word and see what happens kid" And admin2 would take rules too literally and look for the tiniest thing. Like: Someone is talking about coca-cola brand, one of rules is "no politics and religious talk" admin bans user with "coca-cola donated money to charity of x politician, so it was indirectly politics related talk"
Then someone said that they did not like Daisy Ridley's performance in new star wars movie.
admin "ban: hate speech, cyber bullying of specific person"
he did not even give reason for most bans and there were like 250 from him in just 1 month. Owner liked the guy so I left(these kinds of people slurp backdoor of owner to be on their good side"I love you, you are so great, you are best owner in the universe..."

Now I bet you made some slightly salty reply to the mod in question and he starter to rub his nipples in state of bliss because he can ban you as the result.

And that discord mods are most often underage does not help.

So yeah, remember that mods are extremely likely to look for smallest issue with you, and do your best to be always nice (instead of "get lost" just add people to ignore) that results in no ammo for them.
I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay,
