Banned on tft - for no reason a whole section of trade no more accessable

Interesting. I don't really care about TFT, but if you don't want to get banned from a discord/community, telling a mod to "f off, same as your a******* friend" probably wasn't the best idea.
Imagine needing a 3rd party program to trade in a game at 2021. WTF GGG's stuff is smoking!! Clearly the "vision" is out of touch. Fix your game and give us a proper trading mechanism...

The fragments traded in this thread don't require TFT.
Thanks for all the fish!

Should have just refunded. Build your reputation as someone of integrity and trust. It's something that is sorely lacking among the jaded videogaming community.

If what he wrote is true, he did nothing wrong. He traded something for what its listed and at a reasonable price and only because the other guy decited afterwards its too expensive for him he started being rude and called him a scammer.

If by "building your reputation as someone of integrity and trust" you mean giving in to some power tripping internet bullies then well, go ahead and suck up to TFT mods.

As far as I can tell, you deal with mods only when someone complains about your actions.

When you buy something from a store, and go back 5 minutes later to return the product, usually you get your money back, right?

Its a bad analogy but oh well. Do you think you'd get a refund if you went to a store to buy something for a reasonable price, then came back 5 minutes later saying you think it was too expensive and demand a refund while calling them scammers ?

I doubt it, they'd ask you to leave

Unless you forget to mention that you want to refund the product in perfect state, bought few minutes ago, while calling them "scammers", they should do the refund. Otherwise they risk dealing with consumer protection authorities, which I'm sure they prefer to avoid.

this is where your analogy fails, TFT doesn't have any oversight authorities or control, and its not a convenience store. Same goes with trade. Trade isn't a store and TFT doesn't have any liability whatsoever.

besides, this whole ban reasoning is completely hypocritical. TFT mods banned someone on my friendslist after he reported getting scammed for a build. The items were all overpriced by a factor of 4-5, the pob was withheld (which is even against their own rules). its the similar situation but reversed, someone bought something, realized it was overpriced, asked for a refund, didnt get it and reported a scam. except the items in this case were massively overpriced and the report was valid.

instead of banning the scammer, mods just banned the one who reported on it.
scammers kept doing their build scams and later 2 different people attempted to trade me one of their rip-off builds for my aurastacker, withholding pob and massively overpricing items. i reported it to jix and the mods and he did absolutely nothing. instead, i got banned for complete scapegoat reasons.

the whole argument isn't just about wether this ban was justified, the argument is also about having the trade of services gatekept by a bunch of discord mods.

Comparing this to real life situations is pretty daft but even so, I don't think any shop would be under obligation to refund your purchase if you went back later and told them you want a refund because you found it cheaper elsewhere.

I'd refund someone if they made an honest mistake and bought the wrong item or some other similar fuckup but finding it cheaper later, tough luck.
