" It's about the practicality of it all, as has been said. Those heels are a hindrance and that armor has too many gaps to prove useful. It's like the female warrior that chooses to wear all that will doing it for a parade or a show and not for actual combat. It's not a big deal in a game like this. It's those asian games that take it to the extreme, and yes it bothers me. Like I said days ago, I prefer a bit of realism over a bit of sexualizing characters to appeal to the teen boy demographic. |

Pretty weird people think this is "over sexualization". Hardly showing anything, on top of that they will never see this is they choose not too.
Whats especially weird is how this is entirely female driven, as if there arent female gamers that love when the male models are shredded and have a third leg. Shit goes both ways, it isnt exclusive to females lol, which is why no one should care about this kinda shit. Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Viking warriors also didn't have exaggerated feathery helmets, metallic boob armor, glowing eyes, glowing runes and tattoos and flashes of lightning coursing down their arms, but yeah, let's draw the line at heels.

A bit amazing to read some more of the posts given here according to this Artwork and games related.
I already stated that High heels were not even practical for Vikings and probably didn´t even exist until way later. But all this was kinda unexpected to see on whole up until now 7 pages. Anyway, I like the Artwork for the sake of the Artwork, and I also say it looks good. Because this is what artistry is all about. A little bit about Artistry, and then a bit of practical and impractical stuff, and then a little thing about imagination and creation, which in the end goes into traditional artwork. Even the Artists back in the Vikings Era overdid themselves a couple of times. |
