Your Thoughts On New 3.15 Patchnotes?
Patch is poop. The game is not currently in a state where I would play league. Two dud leagues in a row and Expedition is a complete out of season joke.
It's a shame because the Flicker Strike line of sight bugfix is HUGE and would definitely make me revisit some sort of cold flicker build...but nah not even worth the effort of putting it together in standard anymore. But the beauty of the 3 month league is that even though the game is going to be unplayable doo doo for 3 months they can fix it. Accounts will still be here waiting for when better decisions are made for future leagues. Lots of other games to play in the mean time. |

Maybe with the added boss life and damage, experience points got buffed and leveling might be improved.

" I fully agree with you. They're not making it more difficult. The only real challenge they're introducing with this is a prolonged grind. More time spent to commplete things we already completed countless times. Additional instead of giving us a boat league we get a bloat league with more splinters, more micro management and more mechanics thatll bug out and be tedious. I don't get how hard it is to understand: See monster, Kill monster, Collect Loot. We don't need mechanics, we need monsters and interesting loot. Loot currently is 99.999% worthless and the game revolves around farming currency to either buy items from a crafter, or becoming a full time hideout warrior to craft what others are buying. Nobody in the endgame picks up white, magic or rare loot to identify unless its a T1 influenced base, and even those are only picked up at ilvl 86. The real "metashift" would be reworking loot, itemization systems and the overly bloated passive tree and introducing alot of QoL Very cool mirror Service: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3227915

" I don't think we will see any sort of changes to the loot system until POE 2, which will be a late 2022 release at the earliest. Although if this is going to be their design paradigm going forward - my enthusiasm for POE 2 is definitely going to wane. On the other hand, Diablo IV is actually sounding better and better, even though it is ironically being designed by the devil. What I don't think that people realize is that this isn't going to make combat 'slower'. Monsters will kill you even faster after the patch, mostly via unavoidable damage. " XP is unchanged. All mobs will take between 40-120% longer to be killed and will deal substantially more damage (poison changes and defensive nerfs). |

I just need
TWO HANDED SHIELD RIGHT NOW. |

I was hoping for ggg to remove all map portals except 1, increase death penalty and even have characters de-level from death, but I'll accept whatever is out right now as a middle ground I guess.

I believe GGG has lost it's mind over seeing how fast some builds are killing mobs
Now they are just nerfing like crazy to bring the game in an unplayable state and resetting everything to 2013. Which is not what is happening since they are nerfing builds, and buffing mobs. Apparently for a game to be hard the mobs need to give the player little to no chance not through the mechanics of the actual game but because of being ridiculous. I will just watch the league play out on youtube, I really do not intend to play this attempt to fix nothing while items like Hateforge break the game and are worth 9999 mirrors. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party. Last edited by Vendetta#0327 on Jul 21, 2021, 2:10:18 AM

Not my cup of tea, but the shelves are lined with alternatives.

1. Ailment immunity nerfs for flask was overkill. GGG doesn't like the fact that everyone's insta killing bosses and clearing maps in less than a minute, so they nerf defenses? Because that makes sense in their mind. What the actual hell ES builds are supposed to do now? GGG needs to implement a threshold to where taking damage over time doesn't interrupt start of ES recharge, otherwise if a map makes mobs ignite with each hit, perma vulnerability curse, and you're only immune 1 second? that's crazy. Someone is actually, unironically taking a piss. They *need* to rollback that joke immediately.
====================*I.M.M.E.D.I.A.T.E.L.Y*========================= Because, as someone that's ok with dark humor, even for me it was a joke of poor taste. I cannot stress this enough. [Removed by Support] 2.and when they do nerf offense, to me it seems from this patch that only casual builds that barely survived are butchered, but million dps builds that melted every boss in 1 second are just going to melt them in 1,5 seconds. Whoopty fucking do, what jokers. [Removed by Support] They also fail to realize that getting these numbers isn't easy. It's because of tradeleague. At this point, they are balancing their game based on the popularity of the game, not on the actual gameplay of the game, which is absolutely ironic. 3. Aisling crafting nerf was absolutely unnecessary. Butchered. 4.6-8% for movespeed mod is beyond overkill. Like it's actually a waste of flask mod that you are 100% rerolling unless you're doing a MS build for uber lab or you just ran out of currency. Make it 10-20% at least. 5. Instead of making mediocre move skill feel great like flamedash, they made flamedash feel as clunky and sad as the others. Where has the 'buff' instead of 'nerf' motto gone? Apart from this, I'm glad they are trying. I wish they didn't immediately go overkill with whatever brainstorm idea they have when implementing changes. Especially nerfing. I NEVER reply in forums regarding patches. I always agree with ggg. This, however, was truly a cataclysm i couldn't ignore Last edited by Lisa_GGG#0000 on Jul 21, 2021, 6:14:36 PM
