Standard is bad if you use Online only and the player actually in temp league but unwilling to swap league to trade

But if you filter out those guy, i doubt the chance they wont trade

i play exclusively in standard and i get alot of people from league whispering me for items cause they dont have their search filters set right. its no big deal, i still whisper them back and tell them its in standard

but it would start to bother me if it was the other way around, and if i started playing in league. i often have a fair bit of stuff up and get alot of trade whispers, and i feel like i'd never have time to really get into the league because i would have to keep swapping characters just to sell someone their item in standard. either that or i would have to ignore them, and i dont know if i could do that out of habit and good conscience

fortunately this league didnt interest me enough to deal with that. i was going at least try it out, but i spent the entire launch day playing login simulator and then i just decided to stay in standard. they didnt completely neuter my build just yet, and im not that eager to do the grind to 100 again, so i dont really have much of a reason to start fresh. at least for now anyways, we'll see what the next league brings.

The player response is worst in league when you want to trade currency for example exalted to chaos.

in hardcore league i get a really good response rate. like 90+%

no matter if its a 1c purchase.

ppl actually interrupt their mapping to invite right away, 90% of the time.

If a noob creates a fresh account, playing standard is literally a worse version than just going straight to temp league.

If standard was sooooo good, it would be the most popular mode to play. It isn't.

I dont think anyone here generally recommended standard to a new player with fresh new account.
After a few leagues it is just the better choice though to play std in my opinion if you value your time and progression.
But ofc if you dont value any of that there are eternal league players too.

Suggesting someone to start in Standard is totally wrong. Wanted to test Anomalous Infernal Blow in STD the other day. It costs 25ex!?! Wut??

I've literary wasted hundreds of Ex over past 2 years just from testing my own builds with different gear.
