You mean Bladeflurry have a higher ceiling than slams with dudes that put on 2 mirror foils minimize their life to 5k and equip abyssus on with negative defenses?
I cannot rule that one out - but those kind of builds are a joke to me.

But i have seen quite some Phantasmal Earthshatter builds by now that dont rely on Overlapping Spikes + Warcry but on atk speed/Crit Multiplier that im sure get on par with BF on similar gear for single target after all Seismic Cry is up to 250% more damage and Intimidate doubles the damage plus armour penetration which comes in very handy for t19 100% delirious rare enemys.

Regarding possbilities in SSF i agree. If they had access to dope gear they would all be playing Spell based Agnostic/MoM tanks with INSANE damage and bonkers survivability and be laughing over Gauntlet mods. But they dont have access to thats why slams are very good on low to medium budget and in special cases can scale to high budget as well when giving up "slow atk speed" principle.

Just for the record, that 1 billion dps BL agnostic manastacker had like 12k ehp on average without arcane cloak up, -60 chaos res and ele res weren't maxed out either. If that's the definition of "bonkers survivability" then consider me not impressed.

It's also really cute accusing others of being POB warriors while literally providing absolutely no numbers, proofs or anything to the discussion. Only empthy phrases.

You have a video of 1 EX level 80 dropping Phoenix in 20 seconds and clearing the map without at top speed.
You also have another video of me dropping Sirus in last phase within 2 seconds.

There's nothing to discuss about PoB.

Didn't say anthing about casters, the fact is that a build which scales up to 700 - 1000 million DPS start already from the top even when it's in the beginning of the journey.

You can literally finish acts, use the money you got from it, equip BF and drop Shaper at speeds which an average build can reach after 100 extra hours in maps.
I play melees exclusively and I think it's overpowered, that's it.

With Fortify + Divergent Beserk sure is extremely tanky.

You know there is a lot of variations that let you adjust tankiness vs dps for those kind of mana tanks.

Oh and -60 chaos res is meaningless if your hp recovery is 3k upwards per second. Direct chaos damage barely matters and game is not balanced around 75% chaos res anyway.

On topic, totally changing phys weapons (and wrecking everything in Standard all at once?) just to balance 1-2 new skills is a very bizarre choice. Is something wrong with the system as-is? Was Battlemage THAT big of an issue? Change the language on local flat mods if need-be, but don’t eliminate them.

Hope this is just a dev item edit error, nothing more.

Blade flurry and Reave is not really melee anyway. Waiting for a tanky and strong 2h build worth 50 ex max for showcasing how melee is in good place.
