How do people play Casters in this game ?

People don't disagree with that... they just disagree that those should be considered the standards to play by.

If it is that tanky then why don't the SSFHC players play this for Maven kill race? That build probably in the range of 50ex to 100ex. It might still be tanky on a budget because Agnostic and mana flasks are superb, but it might not get the same amount of DPS as it does now. I wished I have 40ex to pump into my raider, or I take an entire month off work to study how this guy crafts his stuff on SSF.

UPDATE: Ok, I took off all his gear and it does 10 million DPS. Great. Thanks for sharing. I will try this BV build soon, with Obliteration for clear and Disintegrator for bossing.

UPDATE 2: It is not even Agnostic... just pure flasks for phys mitigation...

Assuming you are talking about the cold BV pathfinder, don't look at the gear, look at the config tab. He is using indigon and in his config tab he has 30k mana spent recently, that's where most of the damage is coming from. Needless to say that he can't actually spend this much mana. It's just fake DPS. The survivability is good as long as all flasks are up but if he has like a second flask down time he is done for. Also he can only tank the storm with berserk up, still quite a feat but it's a significant restriction. The most important part of that build are probably the flask effect cluster jewels, without them you won't get the heal required. So yeah, that's one of the things you can do if you are shitting exalts but the build is complete trash without a lot of investment. You won't even get close to that with a budget version.

Yup I checked the build further. It is not even Agnostic! Was just stacking flask buffs, hence it has to those exact same flask setup specifically. I would just go grab the staff block nodes since I don't have those cluster jewels except one Conjured Wall, but suddenly it looks so much less convincing as we dismantle the bits and pieces that make the build.

15 jewels all specialized. All gear special too. GL SSF. Someone who makes PoE a job could probably do it. Even Trade for normal's who don't whoop all day, that gear looks hard to come by. Lets get back to reality here.

Dismantle how much you like, yet it cant be dismantled that it stands inside sirus storm or you are acting like it isnt happening in the video (PF has infinite potion uptime btw) and at the same time this char is at the apex of clearspeed, with my 6k hp chieftain i cant friggin stand inside boss mechanics like these didnt exist and it probably goes 3x slower in maps <- it means my super melee char doesnt have either that OP tank neither that speed hence it is inferior in every aspect considered

It is not in SSF simply because it has core drops hence unfeasible for SSF.

If you want to look at caster vs melee in SSF compare alkaizer melee char with 1mil dps with a darn 1k dps axe compared to zizaran's DD or whatever nuke caster he has. The range by itself gives +tank (this one thing is made clear in the game since the very first merveil/prison when the bosses proceed to butcher your melee char with every skill while with like EK you are mostly untouched) then it probably has close tankability plus 10x more damage & application.

Yep i get that and i am of the same opinion, unfortunately it can't be said that it's the same from the designers at GGG (which i said in the other thread are probably diehard harry potter fans or some crap) when they actively add poet pens, spellslingers, indigons, and when it's "melee league" once in 4 they give for example.. a 0.7 cast time warcry to strike skills lol?

Fun fact, the only 2 vids with <50 sec kills are melee builds, strike skills even. The worst skills there are according to some people.

6k life Abyssus Berserker build probably Aspect of Carnage too.

You can easily replicate that with Lacerate or Cyclone when going all out no defense 6k life with an abyssus (essentially 3.6k life against physical hits).

Id go further and say if you gimp your defences like that any caster or ranged build will burst those bosses down faster.
