Your number one reason for wanting to play POE ?

It looks fun and engaging, what other reason do ya need to play a game?

I think it ultimately depends upon the pvp aspect of the game. D3 isn't shaping up to have great pvp and PoE has very high potential for those of us into pvp combat. If they pull it off successfully it could draw a lot of long-term support for the game that D3 just won't get.

It's my destiny to play this game. Our distant forefathers forsaw that "the day would come and he shalt playeth the game"

Just waiting for destiny to give me a key.

Been following this nice game nearly a year now, and now more than ever there's nothing else out there that's unique!!!

I want to play as the only other similar game I have ever payed was Dark Alliance 2 on the xbox original ^^ I had great fun with that so hopefully this will provide some good times!

Well first i want to learn more about the game/story/classes/skills.

The gems are a very cool idea, but do the classes have their own perks? Or can a witch with the same Gems as a Marauder play exactly the same?

Is the world dynamic? Can random events happen that people want to flood too?

Is their single aution house to sell goods?

Even with the gems, is there a tallent tree type of system to put points in to and the gems just compliment that?

Is the world big enough were we dont feel like we are on a single path the entire game? I dont like being out side but can only go one direction.

Will there be towns were we can create our own home or hut or place to either sell or create items?

Are there profesions? If so only alow one profesion per character to cut down on flooding the market with items. Make the profesions very nitch so you feel like you are making a difference by skilling up that profesion.

What is there to do once we hit level cap? What is our goal? Will there be pvp?

All things that give games the legs to stay around awhile.

Gonna be honest. The likelyhood of Diablo 3 comming out this year is slim to none. The likelyhood of Diablo 3 beta starting in the next few months is small. The likelyhood of me getting a key is even smaller.

I need a hack and slash fix right now. SC2 is killing me inside.

Seriously, there seem to be some interesting play mechanics due to some of the mods I've seen on the items. I'd like to know just how interesting they really are firsthand.
