Your number one reason for wanting to play POE ?

I have zero legitimate reasons for wanting to play the beta.

The best I can come up with is "to get me completly off D2"

Right now, to help test the game, and get it ready for open beta. After it goes to open beta it will probly be the competition aspect of the game that will keep me motivated to continue to play.

Because GOOD online ARPGs/HnS are so rare. Very rare. And I'd like to help the developers to make this game better and appeal to more people.

Tried that in Mythos closed- and open beta but the developers where eyes shut and ears deaf. They didn't listen to any of the feedback we gave them. Shame, it could have been pretty good game after some tweaks.

I like GGG's decision on a lot of aspects of this game, and some are very groundbreaking and could change video games forever.

Example : No gold, or currency wow what a revolutionary idea and a bold move by GGG. They could of easily just put in gold and silver but they realized the inherent flaws that a currency system has in video games.

I also am impressed by there random level generator it seems very powerful and robust and will keep an ARPG fresh for a long time.

The video on it is a good watch and shows how competent GGG really is.

I think the 2 main reasons I would like to play is both the very unique sphere grid and the character/ability customization.

support an indie developer make a mark in a huge media market.

or you know, to talk to that generic placeholder quest guy.

coz i really need a good hack and slash

Something about the gratuitous amount of violence appeals to me, comon there's even gore on the logo!

...to keep it short and simple...

I love the adult scenery and gore setting !

Ive been waiting 10yrs+ for a ARPG to capture me like diablo 1 and 2 did. As it looks from streams and the site this is the game ive been LONG waiting for!

Keep the good work up and ill be playing this for 10years to come! :)
