Your number one reason for wanting to play POE ?

the answer is pretty simple.....any one who wants to play RPG's would never refuse to test a beta...and that too in a very refreshing genre....i mean there are not to many games in this genre......

In the months before I got my hands on a set of Beta keys (thanks to Brextan, a forum member at the Runic Games Community, what attracted me the most to the game was it's very dark and Bleak Post Apocalyptic setting. As good as both Diablo 1 & 2 gave you a bleak and hopeless feel, thus challenging you to rise above the dark situation and try to do something about it, it isn't as bleak and dark as Path of Exile. While Humanity was at war with the forces of hell, Hell never really succeeded. But can you imagine what it would be like if Hell really did win and took Sanctuary for itself? The few human survivors would be struggling to survive while trying to hide from the new demonic denizens. That's what I liked about Hellgate London's setting (though I cared little for the very boring & bland gameplay, with an engine riddled with bugs). And from what I recall, Raven Software's games also took place in Post Apocalyptic worlds where a trio of demons (known as the serpent riders) succeeded in destroying civilization on the worlds the game took place. Hexen 2 especially made it a point where there were few groups of human survivors, whom were hiding and in constant fear.

looks amazing! - D3 & POE will be head to head :) ill play both

Because I think D3 will be a massive disappointment, and I am tired of the lack of great PC RPG's.

I saw trailers of the game and im
an rpg player with heart and soul.
So why should i not try to help making a game with lesser Bugs and Balanceproblems? ;)

I'm pretty open-minded with games so i would try almost any game, but my friend showed me this game so wanting to hopefully play with him eventually since he got a beta key and i still don't.

Because I am sick and tired of developers being brokedick mouthbreathing knuckledragging asswipes who obviously have no sack left in between those puny legs which I would enjoy snapping in two while fighting a wild snorlax (insert picture of your ex) while eating a kozy shack pudding. Now then. Diablo 3 and blizzard are officially about the biggest bunch of cheesedick pukes that I have seen in quite some while. Insert picture of typical wow playing puke. Need I say more? Its become nothing but tactical shooters or fantasy that involves lingerie as heavy armor followed up by the dumbest content to be thought up... worthless pets , FLAIR I HATE PINK FLUFFY FLAIR AND WANT TO STAB SOMEONE IN THE NECK ANYTIME i SEE IT. And for f54ks sake... Just because you enjoy gaming and hardware does not mean that you have to succumb to the watered down pansy sniffing carebear hand holding pukes that make up 99.95% of the population. The rest of us know what is good for you. Let me in.

I was really impressed with the passive skill tree and the skill gems sort of remind me of FF7's materia system. In genereal, this game basically looks like what D3 should have been.
