Had to Cancel My Diablo 3 Pre-Order

Why? Diablo 3 has no monthly fee no point to not own and play both games.

This game will have less content since it is an indie developer. So, when feeling bored here you can play D3 if you have it.

Never understand why people assume that you must choose one game only.

I put money into this, D3 and Torchlight 2 as well as GW2.

Always good to have choices what to play when bored with one or the other.

I doubt D3 is gonna be GOTY material after seeing SC2

With Borderlands 2 and Guild Wars 2 on the 2012 horizon, I seriously doubt Diablo 3 will be GOTY either. And that's not judging from my personal tastes, just from past performance of the companies that made each of those titles, the success of the first game, and in the case of Gw2, the almost overwhelmingly positive responses to beta testing so far.

Then again, whose GOTY? SC2 part 1 of 3 got GOTY from IGN. snort.

I'd really like to play d3 as well, mainly to see where the story goes. But I'm not sure how I'll be able to justify the price tag when this game is free.

For those of us who were disappointed by D3 after waiting a decade or so for something... Different from what it ended up being (and not to judge those who like the game), it's not a matter of having to "choose one game only," but a matter of not being satisfied enough with D3 as it stands to play it, at all. ='[.]'=

But realy tell me, did you at least played the D3 beta? or your disappointment comes from youtube videos or reading about it? and if you played the beta are you disappointed from a beta - tutorial of a game that you waited for a decade? im not aggresive or anything i realy wanna know why all this fast conclusions about D3.

Most of us here were not expecting the RMAH(which smells like a scam) or the always on internet requirement. If it weren't for those two things, D3 would be a lot more popular.

But no one is forcing anyone to use RMAH, and we are in the forums of PoE talking about how negative is the "always on internet requirement"..... is this logical?
