Harvest Implementation against Expansion Philosophy (10 Craft Cap)
I am in wonder about people getting perfect items „within 30 min“. Congratulations!
I envy you a bit. I ran so many maps in standard since echoes started and only found the garden once. That was in a non buffed area (I put my ascendency points in lex proxima and Hamlet into harvest asap but got frustrated). The crafts were underwhelming but I was just happy to harvest again... My favorite league... what have they done to you... I would gladly see a buff to the probability to find the garden. GGG, are you sure these two regions actually get buffed with the ascendency points? Maybe you put a - instead of a +? Just checking... Bad RNG, I know.... 50 to 100 safed crafts would make the mechanic more user friendly. |

The only thing that does not change is that "The 1%" will still print money like before. This integration of Harvest is a slap in the face of all mid range players that rarely crafted items before Harvest League and enjoyed having good items without grinding for 37h straight in the first days of a new league...
We should be able to store 75-100 crafts at least and 10 - 15% spawn rate is the bare minmum. The argument of "protecting the economy" is non existent, if they wanted they could have made Harvest crafts non tradable and don't change anything from the league to make all players outside of the 1% happy... Since I managed to bring up the will to play a bit more and actually encounter the scuffed Harvest Implementation myself...
Heres a bump. I cannot explain how much I hate the 10 Craft limit. Even just saving some colour changing crafts or a 5 link for backup when going for a 6 link... All those add phys crafts Im not needing atm cause im playing a miner for atlas completion... Its so infuriating to see all those crafts and wasting them on randome gear to not waste them completly to end up with stuff nobody would buy anyways and im only maybe be needing in the future...? Just let us save almost all crafts WE FARMED FOR and stop forcing us in a "sell or get f**ked" meta. It allready hit Reddit several times. Yeah, it is funny. It doesn't prevent any of the "item editing" at the top end that the top-end players seemed to be so worried about, while totally gutting the crafting at the low/mid end.
Interesting that all the top-end players don't cry any longer about Harvest, even though the thing they complained about is still there. One might even get the feeling that they didn't mind the "item editing" so much as they minded the availability of good crafting for lower-tier players. Pretty sad. Remove Horticrafting station storage limit.

I think Harvest should either have a higher spawn rate or the good crafts should be there more frequently. And of course we should be able to save at least 100 crafts in my opinion.

Harvest is super powerful mechanic and from what i've experienced it mostly benefits mid tier players, like me. Not to make gg items but to make things easier to craft good gear, and it's still everything but cheap. Crafting gg is expensive and ceiling for mirror tier is raised. Total newbie will have to learn how to use it, and when he does, he can either use it or sell it for profit. Like everyone does. Crafting entry items its easy anyway and league provides enough. Don't advocate for to nerf best thing that happened to item crafting. It's rare enough. 10 slots are fine and they are serving the purpose well. Making stock of 50 crafts will only push the elite further. If you need 50 slots of Harvest for entry level gear then simple solution is just to learn about the game in the first place. What could be done, is that they cap slots for more powerful crafts and expand for the lower tier crafts. Making 50 slots for everything would enable spamming augs, rem/adds.... Harvest league is over and this implementation is meant to make endgame crafting easier not to be all that is. |

" yeah I got to agree. i think harvest needs some tweaks here and there but allowing you to store more and making crafting easier with it are definitely not things they should be doing. if anything itll probably get slightly toned down, im not with the scaremongers who want it removed, i think its awesome, but its definitely at the limit of ok, push this thing forward even a few steps and youre entering unreasonably powerful. ive been running around doing crafting self found, ive not sold any crafts nor bought any crafts and im making good items with it. i cant do it in half an hour, ive got about 40 items on the go and ive finished maybe 2 lol, but 2 is still a lot when theyre good items. forget the high trade guys, theyve always been making perfect gear, even back when you had to spend 600 exalts in currency eternal exalting from a regaled base they were still pumping them out and then their peers were mirroring them. they dont matter, its not about them, you dont make it any more powerful because of us, because of what more down to earth players will do with it. I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" I think the point we address got a bit lost. If you feel like it benefits the mid tier players the most, im actually envious on you. Cause it sadly isnt. =( The Links and post explain in detail why the 10 craft cap isnt doing anything good in "balancing" harvest. The latest Reddit Link goes into even more detail why that it. And nobody is looking for a nerf here in the first place. And, maybe, even more importantly, no buff either. Even tho it seems like most people think thats what we want to achive. We argue that the current implementation is just the worst way GGG could have done it. And list things how to fix it and reach a goal with Harvest in the long run that benefits the game in a wholesome way and not a OP tool for op crafting. We dont wont mirror tear in cheaper ways. just to make that double clear. We arent even talking about mirror crafting in the first line. But that the current implementation only (!) benefits those that want mirror tier and have the money. Anybody else is caught in cumbersome and hard to manuveur crafting to make it "look balanced".
